Opportunity cost.
If something costs 15 dollars real cash it still costs 15 dollars token cash.
Doesnât matter how much it costs THEM to produce, theyâre only getting 5 dollars extra with a token sale.
Yes you should. If you want to do well on something, you need to put in the slightest bit of effort. If your not willing to learn a simple dungeon, you donât deserve the rewards. And yes, it is relevant that the content you are complaining is too hard, isnât actually that hard. I successfully did a +2 +3 and +4 yesterday with a ilvl 175 tank. Itâs not that bad.
It feels really bad, its to the point now where if you cant time it, say you just get a bad run and get bogged down half way, its not even worth finishing the rest ofthe dungeon, better to just kill the key and do it on one level easier to time it.
Our loot chances went from
60% chance of loot if you time it, to 40% chance if you time it
40% chance of loot if you dont time it, to 20% chance if you dont.
Honestly i enjoyed M+ in BFA, the system had flaws yes big ones, but this some how is way worse. If they would up the loot to what it was and keep the great vault mechanic it would be amazing.
For Mythic + yeah I see why it would suck.
Yall play this game like Diablo 3 or Path of Exile. RUSH RUSH RUSH! GEAR GEAR GEAR! KILL 100 mobs per second!
WoW isnât supposed to be like that. Sorry. In the Action-RPG genre there is no concept of âbis.â There is only loot candy because endlessly rushing requires you to endlessly get gear to tool around with.
Unlike Raiding and PVP where we should be able to plateau with a full set of BIS eventually.
I never said it was too hard. I said having a timer was un-fun.
Please read the argument youâre trying to counter.
Thereâs still a reason to finish even if you donât time. The vault.
How would the difficulty be maintained without the timer?
Honest question.
Other than disabling cc and adding a stacking debuff so you couldnât wait out cooldowns (and that would probably hurt everyone) I donât see how you could, but maybe you know something.
Loot is 100% fine and not every single person should be rewarded for doing 1 dungeon.
BUT
You should receive more than just 35 anima.
I vote for just giving full reward no matter if fail or succeed the timer, the timer just upgrades your key allowing you to get higher level loot. That way, people who donât want to deal with the timer can just form completion groups lol
Difficult bosses? How is that even a question?
The bosses arenât the hard part in M+ and are definitely not what fails a timer.
Im fine with not having 100% loot chance, but there was no reason to change it from 3 items for timing a dungeon, to 2, thatâs the difference of more then half getting an item and less then half getting an item.
More importantly, thatâs the diference between you getting an item more than half your runs and you getting an item less than half your runs.
Why would you do it at all if you more likely to get nothing than you are to get something?
I mean, they can do that for the Vault. On every dungeon though just lollygagging through it would probably make it the superior form of gearing.
if you never time a key youâd be getting crap for ilvl though.
Whiny whiny babies. Honestly this is how it should be. There is no and I repeat NO satisfaction what so ever in a loot piñata. I feel way more accomplished when I do go to raid and get gear, or when Tuesday comes around and I get that upgrade, or when I do time a key and get a slightly better chance at loot. Quit whining, the loot will come just not as quick as you are used too.
The reason is that you are still being rewarded and you need to put effort and work into your character. If youâre still having bad RNG with items then leather-stack so you can at least trade each other to solve that problem.
If anything they only need to increase the anima you get.
Eh, I suppose that is true. Theoretically you could just continue to pug into completion groups until you got all the gear you could from that place then move onto the next. Then pug into the next level of key and repeat⊠etc. I do guess there would be some sort of hard cap to this as you get higher though and people start checking RIO.
edit: Of course this assumes that anything above a +2 would be completion. I think it probably would a few more levels though when people know they have reached the cap of their ability (or gear) and are happy with just finishing the key.
This right here though, is a very clear indication of a problem with the system if it results in this. If you are needing to rely on extrnal loot factors like taking people who have the same type of armor you have to get a better shot at them getting an item they dont need to trade, thats a problem with the loot system and you are trying to go about cheeseing it.
