Blizz ruined m+

With PL that will always be the best solution regardless, it was in BfA.

It is not a indication of the problem, there is no problem.

BUT if you’re going to continue to complain about not receiving loot then it’s easier to get loot by leather/plate/cloth/mail-stacking to solve that. Same could be done in Legion & BfA

Exactly. If Blizzard were to implement some of the things these people want, it would make the game worse for it.

Except they are asking for something to be reimplamented that no one complained about.
No one was upset that timing a key gave 3 people and item, no one was upset taht NOT timing a key only gave 2 items. THen blizzard randomly decided to reduce that loot. Thats what people are upset about, having the thing that NO ONE complained about being nerfed for no reason.

The player is being asked to put in just as much work for less of a reward for no reason. The great vault was a great idea to fix the problem that M+ did have which was getting screwed over when trying to get those last few pieces. Blizzard fixed one problem and created another.

TBF, I think the raid loot reduction is even more egregious. 3 for 20 is a crap amount of loot.

Our heroic guild is looking at getting like 1, maybe 2 items a boss if we’re lucky. We had times before Titanforging was rampant that it was 1 per 5 people, don’t know why they had to go UNDER that.

Again, 100% agree, and i have been saying blizzard removing master loot and reducing the loot pool is specifically about them prolonging the activities to keep people logging in.

Again they are making us do the same work for less loot.

It has a chance of backfiring honestly, how many people will stick around for 35 anima week after week?

Its not even a week in and im already over M+ im going to do maybe 5 a week for the vault reward. And call it good

I’d trade the vault in for more loot drops from content honestly, where it should come from in an RPG.

IDK if i would trade it, because it fixed the biggest issue with M+ which was the mercy of RNG giving you the item you needed. IE a friend of mine literally was stuck with a M0 or like M4 ring for like all of BFA because they could not get an upgrade to drop from M+ the vault can fix that.

Its the randomly reducing the loot thats dumb. Its a case of 1 step forward 2 steps back.

Mostly that’s from a raiding perspective, i can guarantee that the reason they didn’t go 1 loot per 5 people in raid is because of the vault.

The M+ chest has worked well since it’s been a thing IMO.

And we lost our bonus roll.

I can’t get excited about a pool of 60+ items from dungeons alone. It’s nearly impossible to target gear now.

Did at least 4 m+'s per day since Tuesday. I’m on the exactly same ilvl since then. I looted only a necklace that was redundant. It definitely is not healthy for the game.

Dont question his honesty then. I guess you dont doubt it any more huh. 50 runs and the guy gets no weapon?

Lame.

No, they are changing the game into a different MMO, which pretty much alienates their fans that supported them for over decade. I don’t think it is working all that well. They have had to introduce some of the most punishing time gates to date in order to keep players logging in these days.

The e-sport mentality that has infested almost every aspect of their design will eventually kill the game in my opinion. I crack up players like you too. The pure arrogance on your part to just dismiss the long time fans of the game. You’re basically telling them to get out and make way for the elitist, spastic, instant gratification crowd. Do you think that is healthy for the game if a good portion of the fanbase continually keeps getting underserved?

Your statement here just proves my point. If they had done a 10 instead of that four, their end of week reward would have been substantially higher. Thus, punishing them if they do lower keys. I don’t understand how this simple concept is going over your head.

I think he’s trying to point out the inability for some people to adapt to a changing landscape. Its also a terrible argument to say what they are doing will kill the game, considering they have reported not only record profits but also surpassing record sales in the game alone. So obviously they are doing something right.

Now do they make a ton of incompetent decisions that make zero sense in game design, most definitely. Even ones that really are just QoL changes that really wouldn’t affect their obsession with time gating.

The point is, games are changing and even though there are older gamers, from a business stand point, you have to appeal to the new generation growing up because they will be buying into the games long after you are dead. A morbid thought to be sure, but if you can’t adapt to a changing climate, then the business really isn’t going to care about your outdated opinions.
