Blackballed on <Deviate Delight>. What would you have done?

LOL dude, stop…just stop. Clearly the guild made the right decision because you threw a temper tantrum (and still are) because you didn’t get a piece of loot you wanted. Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that you were one piece of loot away from /gquitting the first time you didn’t get your way. I know I would never want to group with you under any circumstances. You keep playing like you’re a victim…most of us see you for what you really are.

Not “BS”.

This is the normal way for all guilds.

When you start a new job do they give you the jobs pay cap already? Or do the guys who have been there make more?

Logic is hard.

First off this isn’t a job. It’s also not a relationship building up over time into a marriage. It is a game. You log in, raid, get loot, and log out. This thread shows how truly “delusional” some people are to think that in a 15 year old game new guild members have to dedicate weeks…if not months of their time to roll on PvE gear that no one else in the raid needs for raiding purposes. Saying someone has to raid for weeks or months just to prove they are worthy of a digital item no one wants for PvE…is RIDICULOUS!

I mean… You wanted it right?

Dw told me that he was the GM of the #1 guild on the realm and his advice was to not talk in chat channels. And what I told him is that I’m not going to change who I am to conform to a dying realm’s expectations. He didn’t like that response and so he put me on ignore.

I was never rude as he claims. Before I told him I wasn’t going to change I simply said that a lot of the guilds on the server are struggling. I raided with one of the top guilds and they wiped in BWL over and over…and that maybe guilds should start helping gear new people to the server and not make them wait weeks/months to get gear. I leveled a caster class to the low 20’s on the server and didn’t see a soul. People are NOT leveling there…so these guilds depend on transfers to survive and progress, but they treat the transfers like second class citizens and don’t gear them. So the transfers just transfer off again…knowing that there are better realms out there. People on Deviate Delight don’t get this. Dw was offended by my “logical and rational” statements…so he put me on his ignore list…as the realm’s population continues to suffer.

No offense but it was your first raid there. Why didn’t you just show up another 1 or 2 times and see if they would funnel you the gear you crave? At the very least if they are as geared as you say they are you could expect a ton of gear and potentially even the ashkandi. While if what you say and a “blacklist” was done just because you gquit then i’d say the guild is childish, so is quitting just because you didn’t get a piece of loot off an end boss on your first run.

Like i said you could probably have picked up a ton of loot (easily and basically for free) if you didn’t just respond emotionally in the heat of the moment. I don’t think it’s a lot to expect to show up more than one time to a raid for weapons like that.

Ashkandi is not for warrior PvE. Ever. You’re garbage to think otherwise. Yeah, it would be an upgrade over your blues, but that in no way gives you prio, you god awful leech.

His attitude and memory leave something to be desired, apparently. I never claimed that we were the #1 guild on the server. I said that we were one of the longest-standing, successful guilds on the server.

He was rude. I very politely urged him to lay low and let things blow over so he could get back to raiding and experiencing the game. I honestly felt for him, because he’s been receiving a lot of abuse in LFG for about 24 hours straight.

When I politely tried to end the conversation several times. He would not quick spamming me with rude responses that disparaged the entire server. I put him, temporarily, on ignore to deter his ceaseless responses.

You can try to recast that interaction however you want. I don’t care. No one else does either. Cheers.

If anyone believes the guild this guy is referring to wiped at all in BWL especially as many times as he claims then you probably believe he deserved the sword too, this guy is full of it and lying to get pity support.

The guild itself is in this thread saying that I wiped them multiple times with my blue axes that their Tier 2 tanks couldn’t pull aggro off of. All you have to do is scroll up and read…takes 2 seconds.

I see the problem.

And the problem is that you don’t realize that in classic it is all about relationship building, This isnt retail where you can LFR your way to purps. This is classic where server reputation and dedication to a guild matters. .

You’re playing the wrong World of Warcraft. If you don’t care about relationships, building and maintaining them then you should head back to retail where LFR will always be there to take make things super easy for you

And the people saying they pulled the logs and you had sub 100 DPS, used the wrong abilities, and that you specifically wiped the guild on Vael by being in the wrong position? What do we say to that?

HAHA i know right. Its because most players who play this game are socially deprived and use their stupid guild as some kind of replacement for their family (alot have broken families) and friends. I dont know why its so hard to find a guild who isnt some kind of stupid little “do it for le guild guyz we are one happy familyy” like its a goddam game.

BTW deviate delight has the weirdest freaks on there. Terrible community. Its a bunch of gamer dads who are trying to pretend to be young NEETs but also furries at the same time. lmao.

A Nexus Crystal is more valuable to a guild than a warrior who will leave after not getting his way on the first raid.

So Pollz how many weeks or months should pass before a warrior is allowed to get items for PvE that no one else needs for PvE?

In a loot-council guild. Until you prove yourself reliable and an asset…however long that takes. Until then, the nexus crystal is more valuable.

Yeah, I read that and you said they wiped constantly where he says it was 3 times 2 which were your fault and you claimed they were struggling to get bosses down which is obvious BS

So if the Loot Council said it took a month or three months to prove yourself worthy of gear that other people don’t need for PvE…you’d be fine with that?
