I cant even get to char selet screen its just a black screen with music playing and hand for mouse
still not working!!! come on guys whats your deal it been 20 years and still cant get it right? i want credit for this its a black screen with music playing and the mouse hand

We have reports of Mac users with those symptoms. It is currently being investigated.

yes 2020 i9 intel raydon 5700xt i also tried on my 2017 i7 raydon 560 neither will log on to char screen it just plays music and has the mouse hand pointer on a black screen ty for replying at least we know you guys are still on it after servers reset ty again!!

I am keeping an eye on the ticket that was created for the investigation. If I see any updates I’ll be sure to post them.
I should say, if I see any updates that make sense to me (tech folk tend to speak in a language I don’t understand being non-tech savvy) and I can rely them.

Mac user:: Same here. I’m downloading my PS4 games in the meantime. I even did all the renaming stuff my ticket support told me, still nothing. I just wanted to play my game. I don’t have any obligations this week and this was my most available time so I’m disappointed to say the least.

Vrak I appreciate you. Your team does not deserve to have to put up with the countless disasters that occur after an uncooked patch gets forced out by leadership, but here you are. You deserve better, but so do the players.
I’m not sure if this issue is the same thing, but reading through the posts of the thread I linked below, it sounds like it.

I don’t know how to do any of that program stuff…I don’t even know where to go to find it
You can probably post there to have some knowledgeable Mad users break down the steps.
Otherwise it looks like they are going to work on a potential hotfix but it sounded like it might take a bit of time.
So yeah, post over there and ask if someone could please break it down into easy to follow steps!
Also maybe try that? Looks easy to follow!

It’s not exactly program stuff, but if you are unfamiliar it can seem a bit complicated. 
The Developer that has been posting in the thread I linked listed the steps. The first is adjusting the config file here (you are basically opening the file with a word program and adding that line before saving it).
Otherwise you can try these steps if you have an issue with the config file steps:
