I farm these every server. We mafia’d the market back on 2019 Faerlina. I made even more gph back then than I did now; it was actually disgusting how much gold we made. This is not new to me. I literally do it for fun due to the pvp involved
I also dont believe you have “more gold than me” since you thought i was selling gold. Only broke people say that. Imagine wanting to sell all my gold over the fresh lifespan just to make less from it than what I make in a few days worth of work. Gold is too cheap for north americans to make any money off of.
The people crying about “I don’t have enough gold” are the same who’re too lazy to even do a single Strat Live Orb run.

Incendius had like 12,000 players on it lol. Thats definitely not “most” there were PLENTY of people still ranking in p4, p5, and p6… and now in era…

The old system certainly had its way bigger advantages over the new system, i wont get into all that here though.
But I could never go r14 in the old system, even though its better for BG longevity. New system everyone will be done at the same time, bgs are dead now except for the welfare rankers and alts. itll be alive again for 5 weeks and then itll be dead again

Depends on server population; I have used the old ranking system several times I know all too well how it works.

You think gold botting was bad? Honor botting was INSANE… Hundreds of thousands of honor bots a week. It was out of control.
Gotta get the 15 HKs to get in the pool to bloat the pools. Every 334 bots = 1 B1 slot. Do that 20,000 times entire server is rank 14.

The decay was probably the worst part of the system for todays classic wow age/audience. Like if they launched a server with the old system id never go past 12. Their goal after a couple reworks was to exclude decay. It worked, technically. The issue now is 500k caps mean the bulky, more capable base caps before the weekend, and caps rank on schedule. Kills battlegrounds once everyone “is done” like we see now. AV games are horrendous because the better players are already done. The old system also required participation in the other BGs. This system does not.
BGs will be completely dead after everyone is r14 week 5-6, and people who actually like the other BGs will be segregated from normal games because they will be using the wargame feature.
