With a single spec you dump gold for the economy 100 at a time; I spend 300 to 400 a week just on spec changes for this pala alone… I play several specs depending on use, even the raid I am playing I use different specs to better match the raid needs.
Dual spec takes that gold sink away to a great degree and as a result more inflated economy.
WMC has a very stable economy, NS while it does have like 5X the players by my estimate, it’s got insane inflation problems because it has first a serious gold buying problem and second fewer ways to remove gold from the market.
Buying mounts removed gold, buying repaid removes gold, even the chronoboon at 10 gold each formerly eliminated a lot… but now it’s only 1 and there is less reason to re-spec since most just PvE and occasionally PvP and hell in BG on NS most don’t even PvP spec or gear right.
I mysteriously watch devilsaurs spawn wearing Santa hats and passing out valentines candy. Majority of my guild mates have too! Nobody knows why that’s happening!
Now there’s an image! If only someone could stick a Santa hat on the Fel Reavers so I could watch them sneak up on unsuspecting victims once TBC rolls around.
How you see it depends. But, I can go seamlessly from pvping as shadow to pve healing. I would just not pve heal without DS. Some might see that as a win. Some would say that’s where you lose identity.
Exactly. That’ll add a lot more lotus to the server. Also, I can find high level herbs. Lotus is the problem. Dreamfoil tanked when jump runs came out thankfully
Except I know how the character data works; it takes very little space. Its comically small, and its not hard to move. This is why we can have automated transfers and character copies and even update from one version to another seamlessly for example vanilla → TBC → Wrath → Cata.
