BiS preraid crossbow requires AV win

Invest in getting a nightfall crafted and join your guilds raid to rank 1 wing clip for procs. The procs you create will do more raid damage than what you will from that xbow.

Then while in mc - loot the leaf and get your corrrect bow.

Ok I’ll bite… Please list the Alliance map advantages Vs Horde. You seem to claim they’re equivalent and offsetting.

Nowhere did I claim that they are “equivalent and offsetting”. The fact is, there are strong points and weak points for BOTH factions in AV. You lot are the ones who insist on making ridiculous lists of grievances, without acknowledging that you have strengths as well. Another fact is that during vanilla, the very same map was used for multiple versions of AV till the end, and alliance won plenty during that period (if not arguably a majority).

Stop pretending that the map is a factor. It is a cop-out to cover for your faction not actually putting effort into the game due to an addiction to fast queues, and the removal of the cross realm discord premade idiocy.

We can. The problem is that we can’t keep people on 60% mounts and in trash gear out of the BG. Given the starting positions on the map, Alliance NEEDS to have a high percentage of 100+% mounts along with some coordination to have a chance.

What are alliance strong points in AV? Funny how how you didn’t list them.

What does the map being the same have to do with the built in bias for the horde?

If alliance won more games 15 years ago with the same map doesn’t that just mean horde didn’t know how to play AV back then?

I’m still waiting for the list of advantages alliance has. The map is the biggest factor, racials being the second.

Ok. The starter cave for horde is seen as some “advantage”. But it puts the collision point at Balindas cannon covered bunker of doom. There you have support of bunker archers, LTs and a close in graveyard during the fight. And yet 40 horde with a much further away graveyard during this initial engagement seem to be rolling over you guys with NPC support all the time. How exactly is that an advantage to horde? The first clash is stacked in your favor. From there you should be more than able to keep a push going to IBGY, where horde can not get by the choke once you take it.

After which, you have a clear ride STRAIGHT in to drek with 0% mob resistance, as you can ride by all of our NPCs and suffer 0% risk of being feared in to them or otherwise pulling them. The horde at van can be CCed into a bunch of other NPCs which we have to then clear. And some of them have stupidly massive HP bars.

Conversely, from SPGY to SPAS you guys have a funnel point, the bridge, which you can use to choke us and delay while your offense takes advantage of the above. Your range can even pull back to said packs of npcs to force us to aggro them. Horde does not enjoy this luxury. We have to kill you ourselves at drek with no help.

You guys also get to ninja our towers without resistance from the archers. We have to clear them in your bunkers to tap the flags.

Does horde also have map advantages? Yes. It is called asymmetrical balance.

But none of that will matter if the alliance do not start trying. Which I can safely say, they do not. I kill more alliance trying to ride past on their mounts or hiding in corners of the map than i do in an actual fight. So start trying again and you will start winning.

  • Bunker archers and flag positioning
  • Bridge choke (we both have backdoors, so save your breath)
  • Archers covering entire west side of bridge (horde base archers cannot see into the tower along the alliance route up to Drek)
  • Slews of congested elite NPCs directly outside of Vann’s building
  • Base GY flag right outside Vann’s building, covered by archers
  • Starting cave directly above bridge GY
  • First contact occurs with alliance NPC support (which you lot paint as a disadvantage)
  • Captain that exists in direct travel of alliance force south, while horde have to travel to the west side of the map to defend Galv

Those are off the top of my head.

There is no “built in bias”, just alliance lack of willingness to actually play to their strengths, when they have players in the BG that do more than afk.

No, that just means that alliance post discord premade nerf do not want to try.

THE MAP IS ONLY A FACTOR BECAUSE YOU ARE ENCOURAGING DEFEATISM AND QUITTERS

This is the bottom line.

Did you just point form my argument? XD

Imagine calling yourself a PvPer and actually enjoying a 100% win rate.

Some of these Horde are griefers, plain and simple - no point in trying to reason with them.

They just need to put the av in that the phase were in idc if mines killed me and archers one shot me would make av pugs communicate a hell of a lot more

But then I don’t play av haven’t played since Tuesday games boring as it is even with this new “raid” to easy

Alliance to busy trying to defend a GY to win AV. They even have terribad people claiming they are farming 6k honor per game this way.

I’ve won about 20% of my games this week. The key is to turtle just as hard as the horde.

Eh?
I was agreeing with your point that alliance needs to try. :man_shrugging:

That just tells me that overwhelmingly, the alliance AVs, made up of random entire region CRBGs, suffer from a large % of players either botting, afking, or leeching. If there were no CRBGs, then there would be accountability, and a lot less of that clownishness.

Correlation =/= Causation. Just because horde win the vast majority of games does not automatically mean that horde or the map are at fault. YOUR OWN FACTION PLAYERS have been known to point out repeatedly, that a very large number of players in each and every AV are not actually playing the BG since discord premades were done away with.
THAT IS NOT THE HORDE’S FAULT
THAT IS NOT THE MAP’S FAULT
THAT IS NOT THE RACIAL’S FAULT
THAT IS NOT PTSD FROM P2’S FAULT
That is solely, singularly, full on the fault of your faction mates.

When this is pointed out by the handful of honest alliance players on the forums, they are shouted down. Much easier to simply blame it on everything but yourselves.

Your posts would be easier to understand if you used punctuation. Seriously dude.

Just think of how many you’d win if more alliance did likewise. Part of the issue is that it would lead to longer games, which many alliance do not want, due to the quick queue pops.

All that logic in one post.

Thank you for the tip, this thread became an all out brawl this is the one piece of advice I got lmao
