Yes, everything reset. I did the weekly for 6 WQs and got no reward in the Pinnacle chest, and then crashed out on the world boss, everything froze, I couldn’t log off, had to force close the game and got told my character already exists when I tried to log back in.
Yup happened to me two time, 8 hours appart, after completting M+, game just stuck, alt F4 then , character already exist, prob character still not log out even after alt F4, dont receive any loot or crest from the mail, crest should be auto looted right after timed a key, but I checked the currency, its missing

Well to be fair, even when they had a QA team they sucked. 
PVP technically works, but no honor, conquest, valorstones, or crests drop from winning.

I also tried to buy a stack of rep tokens from the TW vendor yesterday. It consumed my badges but didn’t give me any rep tokens. Luckily it was only a stack of 5, but still. Buy one at a time!
I don’t think this is a bug. This has been the case for a while now, though I don’t know when it started. The NPC will stick around for at least a day, maybe two after reset. I suppose to give people a little more grace in getting TW rewards or turning in the quest, maybe.
bump. timed 2 dawnbreaker 11’s yesterday and at the end of the dungeon my character sat there unable to do anything. had to force quit the game then was hit with “character name already exists” for a good amount of time before I was finally able to log back in, only to find i wasn’t awarded loot or crests. I healed my butt off nearly bursting an aneurysm as DPS died to avoidable mechanics for nothing.
I submitted a support ticket and the GM replied with an unhelpful “have you tried actually finishing the dungeon?” bruh did not you not read my ticket…

I rolled a new alt and did Legion Chromie time. I’m unable to use the portal to Dalaran from my class hall, and couldn’t exit game had to alt+F4. Now I’m unable to log back in because character already exists.
Aaaayyy we’re back in 1.x! Except warriors are able to generate rage. Let’s do the time warp again~

Tried to do the withered training for shal aran this week, used up a bunch of items to buff them and got immediately locked from the scenario.
It’s hard to get those items to buff your withered army.
Id been saving them for weeks to do a run.
Just not going to play my characters for now and just get plunder until they fix this.
If I don’t buy everything before they get it fixed anyway

Yeah was having the problem last night while getting the weekly kp for my gathering main. Could not do anything after i clicked on a slab of slate. Figured the lag was the problem so I killed the client and went back in and was greeted with the character already exist. This made my heart sink as I have just got back into WoW in September and been working on a lot of quests and kp points that I would not like to have to redo.

That really blows, I’m sorry. Your character should still be there, so you shouldn’t have to redo anything. hopefully all of your items got looted correctly too.
Leaving the toon alone for 15-30 minutes might clear up the character name exists error. If it’s still doing it longer than that, the stuck character self-service tool does still work, it’s just insanely slow. Took me like 20-30 minutes to get all the way through it.
