Lol, I figured that much but you can’t go wrong with playing the best race in the whole game because we look the best model wise and everything we wear looks great so it’s a win, win situation no matter what.
I know it’s not the same but do you have the Ring of Broken Promises toy?
I am not sure what’s wrong with Blood Elf fans asking for Dark Rangers or Felblood looks, or San’layn customization for their race. I think it’s pretty viable request since Dark Rangers are actually a thing after BFA and before BFA too.
Isn’t he just posting what he would prefer? Doesn’t seem like he’s trying to tell others what they have to want.
While he is being kinda… direct… I wouldn’t say hes saying its exactly wrong to ask for.
Its just his opinion.
Hell I think San’layn are much better as an AR and Dark Rangers should be a forsaken toggle.
To each their own.
I think either way works, because if you see in game, the dark ranger look is already being used with Blood Elf model anyways. As for dark ranger for undead, it’s a bit tricky since Nathanos uses human model instead of the Undead (Nathanos -used- to be undead male model till later around Legion expansion)
Comes down to the racials and classes along with the Dark Rangers generally being a forsaken thing not a Blood Elven one for me.
Mind, I wouldn’t be unhappy if they’re attached to Blood Elves. Wont change my plans either way.
And if they ever do that Subrace thing everyone tosses around sometimes, I’d love to see them with a Banshee’s Wail racial.
Really depends.
I’m not interested myself in Nathanos’ model, though I know a few folk want it. But as far as specifically Forsaken Dark Rangers, Nathanos trained up a bunch of new ones who are the human Forsaken. Nathanos himself though… he was technically unique… or more correctly hard to make more of.
inb4 they get Sylvanas’s kamehameha she did to Saurfang.
Not all he fans or ve fans wanted what happened, only the most fringe ones did. I can understand your anger, but 2 wrongs does not make a right.
I do hope they do not give a 100% natural look to VE’s though. I have a feeling they will still have features to separate the 2 races and do not believe tendrils/tentacles colors will work with the natural hair color, I think they may put them on a separate unavoidable color pallete.
As for BE’s I still want arcane runes on them, glowing or not.
Because they are forsaken and it makes sense, there is also NE dark rangers now too.
Lol, I love that you say this because this is exactly my way of thinking.
I wouldn’t mind a tenticle color option separate from hair to be honest though too.
K Wanting Dark Ranger customizations Is not a wrong Just because You don’t like it.
And I don’t think many people are clamoring for Night Elf dark ranger skins. They don’t look all that different, whereas we’ve had the dark ranger blood elf model for a literal decade.
I’m not sorry to say this is a hill I’m literally willing to die on, and if you don’t like it that’s fine, but I don’t have to care.
I wouldn’t mind different colors for them either but I do feel they need to be there regardless of hairstyle outside of the few they aren’t in so hopefully they will be.
I mean… I’d take the eyes I guess. On my night elf?
Don’t think I’d use it there though…
This though entirely.
If Night Elves get any Dark ranger anything, Horde had better get Dark Rangers in some capacity.
Oh I hope not…
Dark Arrow or some sort of Banshee’s Wail like thing or bust.
It would be if on BE’s.
Never said I didn’t like it.
I dunno about you, but when I talk about datk rangers, I talk about all of them, both thallassian and night elf. It makes more sense on forsaken. Also in a sense if you think about it, you would still get the customizations, just not on the race you personally want them on.
Personally, I don’t think I would be happy to see any dark rangers of any kind on alliance. They are forsaken.
I understand what you mean, but that would take another thing from blood elves, and give it to forsaken and that would feel gross. I’ve seen the mock-up of forsaken with elf ears and I just…I can’t.
To take is to mean blood elves had dark rangers to begin with. They never had them. They where created under the forsaken. Almost all of they’re lore is forsaken. If they where as blood elf customization the blood elves would be taking more from forsaken then not.
It’s the blood elf model, not forsaken. That’s what I mean and you know it. I don’t think forsaken players want their customizations to include blood elf undead as options. Who would ever choose the original then? It’s too different.
My wish is after this patch, there be a small quest where the undead elves return to the Blood Elven fold now that Sylvanas isn’t in the picture, and voila the customization is unlocked. It might take a bit more lore tweaking than that but it’s feasible. Or they could just switch it on like they did with void elf fair skin and hair. Whatever.
And no one is taking it from the horde. So what is the issue? The only real reason one would want dark rangers a blood elf customization is so they can use them as paladins, which one is a lore no-no and 2 would enrage forsaken players (as it would mean forsaken could had always had paladins since dark rangers could be paladins, because you know, dark rangers is apart of the forsaken, not the blood elves) and having dark rangers is to put a good chunk of forsaken lore into blood elves for no good reason
