we are on par with gnomes, worgen, draenei, goblins, forsaken, and pandaren
our new skin tones and eye colors were shared with our allied race(lol). need more then hair colors to create distance between them. void elves can be void elves AND something like a blood elf. blood elves can just be blood elves

No. All of that is retcon to begin with, there were never runestones shrouding Quel’thelas.
They had em back in WC2.

I like the Farstrider tattoos the best I think but red or green.
I also like Rommaths tattoos.
I love red anyways 
red and gold are the colors of House Lannister and colors associated with Blood Elves so it adds to why I love them.

I made it up for my character. Phaeliea is the darker sister that followed the path of fel and Luminea is my Paladin who follows the light. Very Raistlin and Caramon inspired.

Ah okay nice I love it! The most ideas I have of Lann is he is a former priest because I spent like an hour on the character creation screen deciding if I wanted another priest or a warlock.

Not surprisingly I love the most the option in the right side of the image (the third one so to say)
With that eye color and that face it looks downright menacing, I love it. VERY Horde. This beats -for me- the ridiculous “muh superficial gaudy jewerly” by MILES (these is how a apocalypse survivor with a decade of integration in the Horde could look like).
Hehehe… I´m the weirdo that rather gets THESE kind of warpaint as a proxy “Farstrider Tattoo”.
I mean the old WC2 tattoos (and more importantly, the beta WC3 tattoos) were HUGE instead of the useless shy line the devs ended up putting on the Alleria model in WoW. If the Helfers do have a prerrogative artistically wise with that Alleria design, then I rather the Belves get something more in line with the Horde aesthetics.
You know, to differentiate. The complement to this warpaint mockups very well may be Rommath´s arm tattoos for example.

I would literally non apologetically use these with Ariël. With a scar and maybe a rune around the arms or better yet, the hands (I mean the toons in this game have such HUGE hands… and hands are quite important for a rogue).
This was an excellent exercise in HOW TO develop the same “Farstrider themes” without literally copy/pasting the same aesthetics between the two races (though idk if as a Velf you had imagined something similar but more “void-y” for your Alliacne toons…).
