Big Blood Elf Customization Thread

Well they’ve been horde for ages now, so holding onto the idea that they should have been alliance is pointless.

As for blue eyes, it’s an option already. I prefer the purple ones myself. Either way, it’s far from the only customization belves needed. In fact every race should have gotten scars, tattoos or war paint or both, multiple new hair styles and colors with optional accessories and multiple colors, and more, just as very basics.

Belves getting gender locked jewelry in two metal colors and accessories with no toggles or ways to switch colors is frustrating, and blizz ignored actual requests in favor of giving belves next to nothing.

So while it’s great you like the blue eyes, some of us wanted more.

I sadly have to agree given the fact they have completely ignored this thread, the San’layn thread, the Dark Ranger thread and they even ignored all of the Nightborne threads while giving Nightborne new customizations and that’s really sad.

I’m so upset at the state of nightborne. The new faces really don’t do it for me, and they didn’t get even half the effort lfd got.

Yeah it was sad and it’s even sadder given that people always claim Horde bias but it often seems more like it’s more Alliance bias but no one wants to play that side like play that side full time anyway so I guess they have to try and draw people in somehow.

I love my nelf customization so so much, it doesn’t make me want to raid or do mythics though.

Always remember, there were people and there are people that still say that having a copy/paste with similar or shared customizations of Blood Elves with Void Elves on Alliance would make a major population shift from Horde to Alliance, I’m still waiting for it to actually happen.

Given the dumpster fire that is shadowlands as well as their current reputation, it’s cute that anyone would think bargain bin belves are the answer.

What’s the downside of that? Other races have it. Belves eyes depend on what they tap into. And Helves in WCIII Reforged were given different colored eyes. It’s a customization suggestion thread. And suggestions are kept in it’s own thread.

I’m happy you got what you wanted. But that doesn’t mean that others have to give up what they want now.

Belves didn’t want to be ally first. That’s not the lore. Helves originally wanted to be on their own but joined with the Alliance for survival. Left them in the second war. Kael went back to assist the Alliance and ended up sentenced to death and escaped. Belves joined the Horde for survival 14 years ago. People need to really stop crying about that.

Yea they did. They tried multiple times to join the Alliance but Garithos wouldnt let them.

They have tried multiple times to join the Alliance even recently. That is where they began was as an Alliance race. You play thru the story lines and read all the books then you will find out that the Blood Elves again tried to leave the Horde and join the Alliance during MOP.

High elves existed about as much time on the Alliance as they now do on the Horde anyways. I’ve always liked them as a Horde race. I like their struggles with addiction and morality.

I disagree.

Even in WCII they were not that interested in the Alliance and directly afterward stepped their support back. More or less leaving it though remaining allied.

Then in WCIII you see em send some sorcerers and priests to assist with the plague as a humanitarian effort, followed by their kingdom being sacked (by kinda the King of Lordaeron) and then when they did throw in their support the Alliance representative at the time tried to have them killed.

Blood Elves didn’t seem odd going Horde to me by the end. Especially with the Forsaken and them having a common enemy, being not too happy with the Alliance as a whole, and Syvlanas being the leader of one of the Hordes factions.

They were fighting their common enemy the Scourge.

So yeah sure, maybe they were trying to rejoin the Alliance in a bid to help out their people, but since the Alliance said no pretty clearly and the Horde said yes a few years later…

That they did, but once again the Alliance messed that up.

Blood Elves only reached out to “talks” because they were concerned with where Garrosh was taking them.

Lor’themar doesn’t even seem that interested when you see the Horde side of all that…

blood elf moment

There we no Blood Elves in WCII Thise who became Blood Elves wanted a spot in the Alliance after they became Blood Elves but they were not allowed in. They only became Blood Elves after the events of WCIII and the Sunwell.

The elves who did not become Blood Elves chose to remain mostly neutral and sided with the Alliance on most occasions. Blood Elves only joined the Horde because they had no other chose.

Didn’t think I’d have to state the obvious that the High Elves in WCII would later change their name in WCIII.

They’re the same people, classic alt.

A small group (1% of the remaining 10% of all Thalassians at the time) retained their allegiance to the Alliance (or remained neutral) but they are not representative of Quel’thalas.

And they saw kindred souls in the Forsaken. A people also screwed over by Arthas. Plus Sylvanas leading them helped.

That still doesn’t mean they wanted to be ally first. They did try to rejoin. Garithos put a bounty on Kael’s head. They had already joined before that, during the second war. Literally the same people. Before that they wanted to be on their own, isolated.

They also didn’t try to rejoin multiple times even recently. In MoP Lor’themar has some thoughts, doesn’t go through with it. That isn’t trying, that’s thinking about it because of Garry wanting only Orcs in the Horde. The Horde instead decided to revolt against him, so Belves stayed.

She will though.

I would like scars, smaller feet, eyebrow options or really anything that shows they have been in battle for the last 15 years

Gods that would be nice.
