Belves, Lann. I don´t particularly remember being pro Dark Ranger for Velves nor anything as remotely stupid as such idea. My last two posts has been about playing with the phoenix theme for Belves as far as the feedback given by Fallynn et al.
Please, however woman denies that she didn´t crush even a little bit for the weeping monk is a lying liar who lies.
Helves weren´t precisely a “Velf” theme either Brae, so /shrughs
I rather we keep SEVERAL venues possible to make that RP tool possible instead of campaigning for something way harder to implement like a Belf model toggle model on the Forsaken one. Especially when the Forsaken were ones of the worse in regards to customizations, literal barebones treatment.
Same as Dartk Ranger dude… if you people believe honest to God that the devs are gonna implement those as separate AR when they didn´t even bother with Wildhammer, let me with all due respect /ROFL at you.
I know, but then again you are aware it´s a borderline dream at this point.
People trying to prevent this cause “muh Forsaken” will literally only screw us harder in the long term when devs get the perfect excuse about a Belf model toggle on the Forsaken costing us a raid tier or something.
If people nor servers did NOT collapse when they saw Golden eyed Warlocks runing rampant on their RP realms, then I´m absolutely sure they won´t collapse either at watching a Pally using red eyes and a slightly whiter skin than normal (heck, are we 100% sure most Pally players will run to portray a “Dark Ranger / San´layn”? Cause I doubt so, they at the most will pick the red eyes and go on their merry way to play their Blood Knight with totally intended puns at their heart´s content).
They have 0 relation to them other then where the corpses came from.
I am pretty sure forsaken players see you guys with that same respect. Just remember they they at least flush the toilet.
And the forums would be flooded with salty forsaken players that BE’s stole their theme and they could play undead paladins but not them.
This I agree.
Disagree, model toggles on forsaken can open up many opportunities then dark rangers on blood elves, as well as avoid more bad looks on blizz taking the lazy way out. Again.
And they wonder why the player base is leaving…
I am pretty certain customization has little to do with raid content even on the resource side of things.
Forsaken players have been asking for things like straight backs and skeletal forms. I don’t see too much of a push for Dark Rangers to be Forsaken than from Helfers for some reason.
So humans should get skin colors of undead too then?
Yeah… no.
Because most believes dark rangers should be an AR or become a forsaken customization as a given fact. As in they feel no reason to ask for it thinking it should be theirs without having to ask for it since 100% of the dark ranger story is forsaken.
I’m a bit more open minded on what happens with San’layn/Dark Rangers as long as they’re added FOR THE HORDE (or both, I guess, but not JUST the Alliance, although I personally find it ridiculous how void elves are asking for it (Well just a tiny amount out of spite) when they should be focusing on VOID THEMES).
Definitely would way rather see San’layn as their own Allied Race more than anyone else. As a thread runner for 3 years, though, even I realize it’s an unrealistic hope. Does that mean I stop hoping? Nah, of course not. It just means I think they’re more likely to be customization.
I’d rather it be blood elf customization than forsaken, personally. Would I lose my mind or be upset if it was a forsaken toggle though? Nah, not really. It’s another avenue that could work. Though forsaken fans might try to be all ‘off with their heads’ to those who push it since some seem extremely picky on what should be added to forsaken (which is fair!) and would be SUPER against this notion.
As long as San’layn don’t go to void elves exclusively, I’m fine. N’zoth red eyes for void elves, sure. But red eyes exclusive to void elves would make me perma quit.
Actually we shouldn’t since the night elves dark rangers already stated they are forsaken now when they met up with calia. Besides undead themes would not be kosher with night elves, as they are big on life magic and undeath would be kinda the opposite of that…
I hate to say it because I’m usually more open to sharing stuff but San’layn customization if it’s added should be Blood Elf only because we already lost most of our uniqueness to sharing stuff with Void Elves and since they already have two themes we need a second theme to make us unique from them before they get a third one.
Also edit but since I don’t want to go back to the other thread and quote it but I read you said it, makeup should be allowed for both men and women as well as jewelry, tattoos and scars.
They did not join the Horde. They were handed over to Calia and left with her. That’s the last we saw of them. They aren’t even NPCs on our side. They just left. Where they end up is anyone’s guess. But it likely won’t be with us.
I agree to be honest. I lean more toward that for sure. If the faction barrier stays then like… why do they need yet another theme for void elves? One Horde has been asking for years for?
The reason why I say both is because I really don’t like the barrier but if things stay the way they are I just… also wouldn’t find it fair, personally. I’d be happy to at least play them finally but it does get really…really frustrating that they seem to now jump to asking what honestly should be for the Horde in my strong opinion.
Ultimately thats where Blizzard will likely go. They’ve only shown the path of least resistance. So I wont hold my breath for them to be a Forsaken toggle.
I don’t have any issues with a forsaken toggle mind, just at this point I don’t think personally that is how it will go down.
Love it or hate it, that does seem to be blizzards way of doing things. Whether we like it or not.
I’ve noticed it being kinda contentious on both sides myself.
Some forsaken players are more for it, others are less for it. Some get very for or against it.
Kinda like how Blood Elf players tend to be a little back and forth on how they feel about it.
I don’t think those folk are actually interested in Void Elves. They’re more interested in messing with Horde players it seems.
San’layn should be an AR. They’re very different from the Blood Elves they’d likely be attached to. (Or the Forsaken for that matter.)
This.
Yeah not sure I’d be too into that either… Night Elf Dark Rangers are… contentious for Night Elf players. lol
Always this, pink hair color really is something every race should have and I will keep requesting it until it does or they give us a color wheel and it’s auto added to all races for hair color choice.
They definitely have even said as much. I don’t know why I let it get under my skin so much. But I have those parties on ignore now which helps me not bother arguing pointlessly. (usually)
Not to mention, as evident as Lana’s wings & the blood princes general look, the vampyr curse is a mutagen. It would be nice to see more of that and how really different they could look. They could do a heavy mix of ‘beautiful’ vampyr and ‘nosferatu’ vampyr if the curse origin is Revendreth, given the venthyr just look like some sort of withered/twisted elf at the end of the day.
