BG queues are horrible

This will probably make it worse since I imagine more people will xfer to horde for racial than vice versa

That would kill Alliance.

Yeah they could call it “Warchiefs Blessing”

that would only encourage more people to play horde once their honor grind is done.

With honor changes only the most serious pvpers will do it for marks at 70 or the desperate looking for some gear to make leveling easier.

Its not complicated why queues went plummeting down after the honor nerf.

However id be more worried about 70. How we remember things versus how they are arent always the same. I was in school when tbc came out. So I played A LOT so the honor grind even at 70 didn’t feel bad. But now? 600 to 700 honor for a win? I think a lot of players will be dropping out of tbc pvp simply because they can’t dedicate enough time to get the rewards in a meaningful amount of time. This my theory at least from seeing prepatch.

Either way rating gating on s1 and s2 already turned off some casuals. Now seeing the amount of honor I think the combination will push more towards just pve. We’ll see.

I wish I had the option of queueing with US players, oceanic BG’s take ages and are only worth even trying during prime time hours.

As long as it’s opt-in and I suffer the high MS and no US players are affected it shouldn’t be an issue. I’d gladly play with 250ms and have the ability to queue up without altering my sleep around it.

Might as well delete the alliance for PvP if they make this a thing. Just remove the faction, burn all the cities to the ground. There would be absolutely no incentive to playing alliance outside of RP.

I have a 60 on NA Horde, OCE Horde and OCE Alliance.

The faction imbalance and subsequent Horde queue times are even worse on OCE, and will continue to get worse as the expansion goes on. Horde queues on OCE are often double that of NA.

Plus, this also means more Horde PvPers out in the world during said queues, which will even further increase the imbalance as people get sick of being camped and stay in safezones or re-roll.

Because most of the people who wanted to pvp selected horde so that they could enjoy the horde racials in pvp rather than put up with them in pvp.

Cross server pvp will not help horde get BG ques to pop faster because there is a larger horde pvp population.

You can help, reroll now and enjoy the instant alliance bg ques.

It’s always been like this. It was this way during vanilla. It’s this way during retail. It’s this way in classic. That’s why mercenary mode was added to the game.

You play the more popular choice in factions for pvp. Your queues are bloated. I know your pain, I main horde everywhere except classic.

Average queue time for my alliance toon is 1-2 minutes, about half the time it pops within 30 seconds. Rerolling is always an option.

Will of the forsaken is completely broken and everything else is fairly balancee

They added mini-shared WOTF CD w/ trinket prior to the end of TBC, am I missing something?? It’s not like it’s useless by any means, but you can certainly play around it and even use it to your advantage.

People know WOTF triggers GCD and allows you to follow up with immediate CC due to kicks being on GCD in TBC right??

Blizzard should do nothing. This is a player created issue. Want short queue times? Play your alliance toon and be part of the solution. Every time blizzard tries to “fix” this, they just make it worse and you end up with the mess that is PvP retail.

it doesn’t matter, it’s still amazing, especially considering there’s a big fear meta with locks, priests, and warriors. a very large percentage of the teams in 2’s and threes will have some sort of fear. Not having to use trinket on fear is game changing and will win many people games.

Stuns, interrupts, slows (for kiting AoE fears), tremors, beastial wrath, fear ward, cloak, feign, zerker, death wish, bubble. I mean there’s so many other answers, I get that it’s a big deal but if you WOTF the fear you can just be stunned and gibbed immediately without being able to use your trinket anyways?? It’s a common bait for any priest rogue or lock rogue based comp, can work with paladins warriors as well, even bear bash. People are missing a ton of nuance here.

There are circumstances where WOTF is game-winning, but my point is that this is the case with most racials. If you have played beta, you know that even in full stam and resil gear, the matches are typically so short that you’re unlikely to capitalize on having both. This is not the case throughout the meta, so WOTF is a double-edged sword in that it minimizes your fear-time in a short match so that you have a chance to respond, but the shared CD also gets you killed. As survivability increases, the shared CD is less of a detriment, but fear cooldowns and DRs outpace WOTF.

Solution: reroll alliance where the queues are instant.

/yawn dude. Yeah I get it, 20 other shills have said the same boring thing. If you’re a company and you have a product, your solution shouldn’t be “go play the thing you don’t want to play and leave your friends because we aren’t creative enough to balance the issue”.
