I would sooner quit the game than reroll another character. I wonder what blizzard wants.

If you think Blizzard should introduce Mercenary Mode, I would suggest Blizzard also introduce Tenacity for all Alliance players having to endure leveling while regularly outnumbered 3-1. The less Alliance in the zone, the more HP, damage, and healing Alliance players should do. It is simply ridiculous that Horde expect to have EVERY advantage in this game. Go try to level an Alliance character on even a 50-50 server and see how the horde play.
When classic wow was announce my friends, co-workers, basically everyone discussed what faction to roll. We all basically said if we want to pvp, we should roll alliance because the queues were going to be atrocious. All through classic people were talking about how about the horde queues were, and how they’d only get worse for TBC.
I also remember a significant number of horde posting on the forums about alliance QQ because they camped our dungeons, camped our quest turns in, camped our raids basically all of classic and they thought it was funny. Well, I find your poor decision making and long queues funny now.
I guess the real question is what Activision Blizzard thinks is funny. Is it funny that they lose tons of subs because a couple handfuls of angry trolls get off on other people’s misery? I dunno well see.

If Blizzard introduces merc mode I will cancel all 3 of my accounts.
I went from subscribing in 6 month stints to 1 month at a time when they introduced the boost to see how they treat TBCC.
If you are not unsubscribing right now, they don’t care, it doesn’t affect their bottom line.
WoW sees a 30% - 40% dip in the playerbase after the majority has consumed a fresh expansions introduction content - maybe you’re one of those players.

If your pleasure from this game is derived soley from knowing that the person you bg against is a different faction when outside the bg, you have mental issues.

The fact you think it is only an issue of wanting to grief the other faction shows how disconnected you really are from the differences between playing alliance and playing horde.
Your faction is literally experiencing it’s first resource shortage in the history of Classic and you can’t look past your own nose to see how self fulfilling solutions would hurt the overall game.
I am done discussing this with arena wannabes and boomers that can’t cope with being washed.
You chose having a life over being competitive in WoW. That’s a good thing. Be proud of it. Quit trying to pretend you belong with the NEETs that went the other road.

Queue wargames with your friends and suck it up, the honeymoon phase with a fresh expansion launch is over. Play the game.

Then it was you who let your friend quit the game. You decided to play horde… There is nothing we can do about. And if you think alliance gains so much more honor, you are missinformed.
If you queue randomly as alliance player, you lose 90% of the games (at least in EU). So your honor gain is around the same as what you get on horde. It destroys also my fun, as I have to play more to achieve the same.
I would love to just play a bg once an hour and have time to work, farm gold or watch netflix in the meanwhile. But I have to play the whole time to get the same like you do.
To solve the problem, they should increase the honor gain on alliance side by 300%. A lot more people would reroll to alliance and equalize the unbalance between the factions.
What do you think about that? Did you get my egoistic crying attempt? That’s what I see when I read your posts. 
If I am blizzard reading this thread, im getting up and walking to the devs and asking them how fast I can fix the que issue. You guys aren’t doing your side a service at all with all the trolling “just quit” comments, its hillarious.

Sure, I want everyone to have fun, but I told you the the gras on alliance isn’t any more green… I also gave you a solution: Yes, it was half trollish but when we are honest, it would fix the problem!

Bumping honor gains I’d be down for. Horde to Alliance faction transfers I’d be cool with. But Merc Mode would destroy this game for the people who actually care about TBC and the Classic Era project.

Layering doesn’t require any form of faction balance to work. We can’t magically layer more alliance into the battlegrounds. The only way to get more alliance is to reroll.
You don’t get to cut in line. Wait your turn or go to a different restaurant

I think blizzards lack of response on this issue is a sign that they want TBC to die and want to push players back to retail with 9.1 releasing, they’ve already made all the money there is to be made in TBC.
people already did those things in the name of quick ques, so yes
I think Blizzard’s lack of response on the issue is that shadowlands content is releasing right around the corner and they’re thinking all of the people complaining about queue time will go back to retail. If that’s their plan, I hope they’re right.
I don’t even think there’s anything bad about that, but those of you asking for merc mode or various other inorganic solutions to this problem most definitely belong in retail.
