As essentially everyone who has tried to play a battleground as horde knows, the que times are awful. Just today I have qued up for 3 bg’s (AV, Eye, AB) since 9:00am and I have played every que pop. I have gotten 2500 honor in 3 hours. Luckily I have won the games I have played, else it would be worse.
AV didn’t pop for over an hour and a half, im currently in an EOTS que for 1 29 minutes, and I just can’t help but think…who thinks this is okay?
I have seen people say this is a community problem and to get over it. They are right, it is a community problem. Mainly because people who have jobs and can only play in the evenings are barred from playing PvP. If someone only has 4 hours a night max to get honor to prepare for arena, it would take them the entire season to get 1 piece of gear as it stands. This is a community problem, its a problem that wil literally kill TBC PvP if not handled.
I know a dozen alliance avatars are going to respond to this saying we shouldn’t have played horde etc and I know they get off on trolling and arguing everything on here, but for all the rationally minded people…nobody could ever suggest in honesty that one faction literally not being able to PvP is okay.
The obvious solution to this is merc mode. Nobody cares about factions in battlegrounds, we just care about honor/marks/que times. Just implement it, that will fix the issue, basically nothing else will. Until then WoW will continue to bleed subs and more and more people will quit the game. This is a fact.
You dont speak for everyone. If people like yourself and streamers (good riddance) quit the game over something as benign as BG Queue times, then you arent really the target audience of Classic WoW anyways, and werealways lgoing to quit anyways.
Why are you retail tourists so hellbent on ruining Classic? Cant you just go back to Shadowlands and let us play TBC in peace without trying to destroy this masterpiece of art with your modern ideas?
The queues are a result of the majority of people choosing the same thing, and then having to wait in a line. This is not a Blizzard problem. This is the natural result of everyone choosing the same thing and neglecting the other choice, while it was freely available to them.
It is not trolling. Alliance has to deal with being alliance and the cons that come with the alliance population to get fast que times. You cant have all the population on horde its that simple. Should blizzard maybe put in a warning or some advantage for alliance to balance population, sure, but why should you have the larger population for more groups, more rated pvp, and also get the one advantage alliance has which is reasonable q times. Reroll my brother, everyone knew this was a problem but people who want to pvp watched a bit too many skill capped video’s and rolled horde. Back in the original game this was not an issue like today because ppl are way more FOTM and want every min max possible. Sadly that min max for a racial made it impossible to effectively pvp on horde.
From a player standpoint is makes no sense because nobody wants to wait 1 1/2 hrs for a que.
From a business standpoint it makes no sense because they will lose subs and player interest.
The only people who are against a fix are salty trolls who for some reason get off on the game being bad for 2/3 of the player base. What is wrong with you?
So your proposed solution is to force people to abandon guilds and friends, spend a weeks leveling an entirely new character from fresh, just to play PvP? Do you work for the government?
Ally deserve the fast ques, look at these ally comments… Imagine having to deal with these folks in your cities and raids on a daily basis. Having your instant que bgs filled with folks afking and fishing in alterac…
you made a bad choice, made friends on the horde, made a guild on the horde, and now have the unintended side effects of the horde. And you want the devs to fix a problem you made with the community because you dont like the consequences.
if you get to queue alliance, you kill the alliance. Its that simple. There would be no reason to be alliance except RP because 80% of the population is horde.
Its funny original TBC didn’t have alliance paladins with seal of blood. If I search your history of posts will I find you telling paladins who are happy they got it that they made a bad choice and should just get over it?
The game has fundamental issues that we all know about 15 years in hindsight. Refusing to address them and pretending like people should just deal with it is hard nosed idiocy, not rational in the slightest.
“Bad choice bro, delete your character” is the dumbest argument. If that is all you got, Blizzard should make the change today, add merc mode. The only argument against it is hard nosed idiocy that tells people to delete their characters if they don’t like it, I mean…c’mon!
Yes you did. When you and others say to reroll, you are essentially telling a person to delete their character and start fresh. Why have a character you don’t play? Telling someone not to play their character is the same as deleting it, no real difference. That isn’t a solution in the slightest, its stupidity and unreasonable blind hatred for people you don’t even know who just want to play the game.
if your objective in this game is to play alot of bg’s you should reroll. If your objective is raiding, rated pvp, having more ppl to play with you should stay horde.
If your objective is to have a crafting profession then reroll to a low pop server and delete your character off a popular one. No use in having layers. Just have everyone delete their characters who wants to mine ore or herb.
