I would to, the ending is terrible. It’s unsatisfying since it has no dialogue and is effectively just an extended death scene, but also now that the BfA story arc is complete we can see that there really wasn’t a well developed narrative for this expansion.
We started fighting a faction war while also trying to repair the damage done when Sargeras stabbed Azeroth with his sword, and we end with “Yay, N’zoth is dead!” The faction war did get wrapped up in 8.2.5, but the HOA story changed to be about using Titan artifacts to fight Azshara and N’zoth instead of healing Azeroth, and the giant sword hasn’t been mentioned since 8.0.
It is your fault for not buying mounts haha
they had no budget, I don’t think Activision Blizzard believes in saving money for a big end, instead if they are making money they will put a good cinematic , if they are not then we get this, so I think they probably didn’t reach their goal on the cash shop for the holidays.
All companies are out to make money. A lot of those companies also take pride in their product and their reputation. These things are not mutually exclusive.
He’s quit WoW like 2-3 times, put a sob story as to why he’s leaving, switched his Youtube channel, came back, left again, came back, he’s the biggest WoW whiner on Youtube.
Watch the other expansion finale cinematics before BFA…then watch BFA’s. Yeah 24 seconds of Ny’alotha blowing up in light vs epic 2-3minutes of conclusion with well voiced story, doesn’t go well when they go low budget.
Cata - Flashing Deathwing, dead
MoP - Agreement to arrest Garrosh
WoD - Archimonde banishing Gul’dan
Black Temple and ICC were significant because of Arthas and Illidan.
Legion cinematics were good sure, but as shown that has not been the historical case.
Nyalotha, and Nzoth while mentioned throughout the games existence, only really had 1 patch of playable content. Nzoth is virtually no one to the player character.
I could see the argument that perhaps Nzoth and the black empire should have been its own expansion, but the cinematic itself did not stray far from the norm.
The sole hope I have is that due to the psychadelic way Nya’lotha vanishes, it was all a massive vision and N’zoth really just was doing another test on us for some absolutely unknown reason.
If he’s dead, so is a lot of player’s faith in the company. Just saying. He was built up for 10 years as a big deal. Sure, they don’t have to care; but they should understand why their going to be dealing with people’s contempt and scorn, especially when or if Blizzcon happens.
Ah, one of the last defenders of the indefensible I see.
Keep telling yourself that. Between this, the massive time-gates, and the duplicity on the Shadowlands pre-purchases relating to the Eternal Traveler set, I suspect it’s a lot worse than you think.
Nah , just someone who understands that players overreact. I mean i lost faith in Feb 2019 and i havent been back. You should do the same if you unhappy.
Just got to hold til April then we get cyberpunk , know you all want to play it
WoD - because of the epic speech followed by draenei chick promising to help against the legion in the future(which never came to pass but added nice context of what came after till they turned her bad against mag’har orcs)
MoP - Horde got a new warchief on the spot and Varian reminded them that the alliance will crush them if they ever stepped out of line again in Garrosh’s path(which unsurprisingly came true as we crushed the horde and won all the major battles in BFA and reminded them they are weaker then us in military might)
Cata - the dragon aspects became mortal or something, and it was revealed Thrall’s wife was pregnant. This was much weaker then the others but it still felt special because the aspects portion for me and the fact that it was longer then 24 seconds with voices included.
Legion - perfect wrap up for Velen’s long developed story and Illidan’s original obsession to stop the Legion, followed by actually seeing Sargeras in his true form outside of drawn images on the internet. Biggest thing here was Velen saying that fate never controlled their victory, only your own power and will to see it through. He changed Velen forever.
Just watched the cinematic and I can understand why it was removed. While I enjoyed the opening of Carapace of N’zoth with Wrathion, the destruction of N’Zoth was terrible.
I’m hoping they pull a Sonic the Hedgehog and remake it; N’Zoth deserves a better ending than whatever that was…
