BFA N'zoth Cinematic now Unlisted

Anyone half guessing of the original content was having Sylvanasboobs flying out of the walls, farting a bunch of arrows out of her makeup jar, and then her 15 year old totally not maggot infested body as she breasted boobfully as Nathanos the game dev made wild dog eyes and then rode off into the Merry Sue Sunset?

Nah, just me?

Because for a final cinematic thank god if they did, all that foreshadowing at "She develops magical powers no one understands yet, reminds me of the Lazer eating, forgot to think of any weakness Younger sibling lol.

1:01 to 2:47 kinda sums up the story of BFA in a bad way lol
1:09 : Local Insane man approaches Monsters
1:40 Baby Sylvanas eats azerite
2:03 Bolvar Vs Baby Sylvanas
2:31 “Fire the lazers!”
Toy: “I eawch laswers!”
Blackbeard: “Impossible!!!”

2:41 “Lalalala alalala”

Batman: Flings And gets direct hit
Toy: “You missed me!”
Batman in disbelief: “No… i did not!!!”

Actually they did do some trickery with the diablo immortal trailer. The trailer was originally linked to the blizzard launcher but players bombed it REAL hard with dislikes. Blizzard’s response was to delist that video, upload a 2nd copy of it and link that one to the blizzard launcher.

Word almost immediately got out that they pulled that stunt and the players weren’t having any of it. The 2nd copy got pelted with dislikes even HARDER than the first.

Oh man, glad I quit this game long ago.

Absolutely clueless take.

I’m glad I’m not alone in this pitiful cinematic situation. Like seriously lol.

I stopped playing BFA because my guild died and classic was around the horizon. I wasn’t really impressed with BFA anyways, but I hadn’t considered quitting just because I was pretty integrated into the raid meta of the game and it was working as intended.

I came back for the patch to dink around (considering firing up the raid scene somehow again) and this morning I popped up MMO to see the cinematics had been released so I watched Wrathion’s first because it was higher on the list. I’m not really sure why/where it’s occuring (I know Wrathion is the first boss so I assume it’s tied to that), but regardless I was like ok. It’s a cutscene of some sort, cool.

Then I fired up the ending cinematic and it was 27 seconds long with everything just breaking apart…or whatever you want to call it. And I was like “What? Was that it? It’s 27 seconds? The cutscene with Wrathion is longer? Holy hell…”

I actually scrolled around MMO a bit more looking to see if I was mistaken, looking to figure out what I was missing…Apparently I wasn’t. Man, I hate to join the Blizzard sucks bandwagon but you can tell all the cost cutting and corners they are doing to keep the game going, it’s really really sad to say the least.

It’s pretty obvious to me that they are blatantly reusing as many assets as they can when they create new content. Patch 8.3 content is literally all centered around reusing old dungeons, raids, zones and making them old god themed which is less work than creating something new. The new Chromie event is a corrupted Orgrimmar or Stormwind which is also reused content. And you know…this is all well and good to an extent, reusing content is not entirely dumb, but I can definitely taste the amount they are reusing and it just screams WE’RE TRYING TO MAKE IT AS EASY AS POSSIBLE FOR US. But hey, whatever.

And then you’ve got this cinematic. It screams louder than any of the above to be honest how bad of a spot this company is in for how tight their budget is and how tight their schedule is. Some part of my was really hoping Warlords was a throwaway expansion in an effort to get ahead on future content and produce good content from hereon out or something to that effect, and BFA proves that it wasn’t. Mediocrity is the new normal.

Props to your raid development team, but that’s about it.

They unlist their own ending cinematic because they don’t want you to see it.

it’s a weird cinematic…

Ok, they tried new graphics but that looks really weird…

and c’mon a young dragon jumping with a dagger facing a huge monster and…that’s it ?

ÂŹÂŹ

grommash jumped at a demon and looked much better than this…

my theory is…

this was released too soon. this should have blown out the HOA to be done with it. this will be in the other other movie yet to come. If it comes at all.

But, yeah, we need it (HOA) another year. Or at least 6 months or so till they can pre 9.0 patch it and kill it. then we will get the side arcs. and some closure.

Personally I was hoping for vindicaar to make a guest appearance. Many predicted it would be the one to use a beam to nuke something from orbit.

Horde would whine about bias. I’d say well you don’t make the orcs evolve so you get what you get. too lazy to change up but I’d post this too on my BE or NB chars lol .

You don’t get spaceships when your construction techniques have to factor in lots of mud and bones. even Warhammer 40k orks got this message. You can keep your spikes and teeth designs. they’d be metal is all.

i dont know, disappointment and shame seem to be consistent with the overall theme of this expansion.

imagine get canned and going on a job interview and defending jumping jellies or the turtle quests. you better be prepared to pour lattes for the next couple of years.

Its every other expansion these days right? Every other one is good? I’ll pray for the next retail expansion. Hopefully yall get something decent.

Meh I was honestly fine with just normal death animations

What’s bizarre to me is that this cutscene leaked months ago, feedback on it was horrific, and they…didn’t attempt any changes.

Getting flashbacks from the ME3 debacle…

How does Blizzard screw this up?

During the Wrath Cinematic Arthas dies, we learn that there must always be a Lich King. Bolvar still lives and becomes the Lich King.

For the player that means we succeeded in our mission, we gain more information about the world and a potential hero/villain is established for us to fight against or with in the future.

The BfA Cinematic is a bunch of explosions, bright lights and that tower that crumbles like that one from LotR with similar music too.

The Cinematic shows N’zoth “dying” and that could mean something but that isn’t really shown to the player. Its like reading a book that abruptly ends. It would have been nice to see the effects our our actions but instead it just ends. At least Deathwing’s Defeat had fireworks in celebration of his defeat.

Its very clear that probably 80% into creating Naz’jatar they were told that Shadowlands needs to be out by a certain time and they were forced to abandon working on Ny’alotha the zone and instead make it a raid only but couldn’t change the story they had and instead had to connect the dots in a weird way. Hopefully Mythic has a special cinematic that is much better.

Yeah I think I will wait until after Beta is in full swing and check out player feed back before I buy it.

well if it’s like BFA the beta never ends

Unfortunately, while Mythic has Mythic-only phases (see: Gul’dan, Archimonde, etc); they never have difficulty-specific cinematics because it’d create something akin to LFR/Norm/Heroic raiders getting a sliver of the story, while Mythic raiders get the “true” ending to the expansion/patch which probably wouldn’t go down so well with players, so what we see now is exactly what we get, no way around it.

Assaults were fun the first two times now, I can’t even think of doing them. Right now I am just trying to level another toon, and pretend it’s a do over I’m trying to start fresh for. This expansion.

That’s not true. Once 9.0 launches we’ll be in the shadowlands beta instead of the BfA beta. Obviously it’s a completely different beta.
