Ahhhh ad hominem. The refuge of the stalwart whitest-of-knight, bereft of reason.

This is a years old rumor that’s been debunked time and time again.

I’m all for criticizing a company when they deserve it but all that guy does is spew out negative videos. He was all against Blizz during the Hong Kong thing yet was just fine playing Classic WoW. He’s a paper tiger.

I mean let’s face it, a lot of villains got DBZ beam’d.

The problem here is that it’s all that happens. Compare to the Legion ending where we got conclusions to actual character arcs after Sargeras got lasered.

Ion: But what if we go like this!
Whizzurd: You literally just did jazz hands.
Ion: I did, some new ENIMA POWER fell out.
Whizzurd: No it didn’t. You literally did jazz hands and nothing happened.
Ion: Well that’s what the AP was in BfA bro.
Whizzurd: …
Ion whispers: Superforge!

At least it’s a hard counter to the million monkeys theory?

I mean, that’s something, right?

Hopefully the interns they had working on it don’t take this too hard. Seriously, I hope it was good practice for them.

Yeah, pretty much.

Didn’t have enough Vulpera in the ending.

It was unlisted from the start.

How does this have anything to do with Shadowlands? They hid spoilers, so what does it matter?

Have you seen the Like/Dislike ratio? its heavily negative

They hided it because of it, and whats the point of hiding to evade spoilers anyway?

Theres multiple sites where the ending will get revealed anyway, such has Wowhead, besides the other cinematic its still there

Has for why it matter for Shadowlands, it because it shows that they arent able to even accept that they messed up, and decide to hide it instead, they are losing their own confidence in managing the game.

Something similar happened last year with all the controversy of Blitzchung, instead of actually accepting and addressing the problem, they just went with the “we did bad wont happen again”, but never mention what they did or how they were gonna solve it.

Quality of product comes to mind. Blizz used to be rabid about polish and perfection. Now the MBA’s are in charge and only want the customer units to provide the company units with more cash units.

Steve Jobs summed it up pretty well.

“I have my own theory about why the decline happens at companies like IBM or Microsoft. The company does a great job, innovates and becomes a monopoly or close to it in some field, and then the quality of the product becomes less important. The product starts valuing the great salesmen, because they’re the ones who can move the needle on revenues, not the product engineers and designers. So the salespeople end up running the company.”

Decline in quality of product is inevitable once the beancounters take over.

Its not Diablo Immortal levels so im guessing its just another survival guide thumbs down.

Lets face it there isnt enough people playing wow to make it really bad

While i agree that he can be a little overly critical, it’s kinda just on brand for him anyway, his entire channel was started by him ranting about crap that bugged him lol

If i had to pick between him or that couple that kiss Ion’s butt and never acknowledge a bad move Blizzard makes, i’d take Az all day long. I actually like that Hazelnutty girl, she does a lot of videos that are just broad strokes, he’s the good, here’s the bad and she doesn’t whine or shill, she just gives info on what’s happening and what things the viewer may find interesting about the patch or whatever.

See people with ideas like yours SHOULD be working at Blizzard. But because of California’s absurd Corporate Culture and Blizzard’s lack of upward advancement potential, the people who can turn things around are never allowed to do so.

Did you bother to read any of the previous replies that were made to that person? My guess is no…

I think my main issue with Az is he isn’t objective, and while Blizzard is deserving of a lot of criticism this expansion, I really don’t like how harsh he goes.

I haven’t actually watched Hazel before. I don’t watch a lot of news YouTubers, tbh, since Az got too mean spirited. Tali and Evitel are…more amusing to watch for the performance aspect even if their content is generally against the grain of the rest of the community. I just respect that they can see some good, because there ARE some good aspects that people like Bellular and Az full on disregard for their news. But then T&E downplay the bad so it’s just…

Anyway, ranting. I’ll give Hazel a looksie when I get home from work.
