BFA N'zoth Cinematic now Unlisted

Ironcally yesterday i was arguing with a few peeps in the Story forums if BFA story was utter trash and not worth commenting about it, then this comes out.

Check and mate, SF.

This cinematic clearly shows us something after 8.3 was cut last minute and they didn’t have time to change the ending.
WoD they had time to do the lead-in for Legion because they basically scrapped it right after launching it.
BFA tried to hold on but obviously they pulled the plug too close to 8.3 releasing to properly conclude things.

This cinematic was honestly even worse than the whole “DRAENOR IS FREEEEEEEEEEE” bull after Grommash literally genocided multiple races. And that’s saying a lot.

N’zoth was hyped up for 15 or more years, and this is the ending he’s given? Like honestly?
If this is the quality of story we’re getting in Shadowlands, count me out, because yikes. This is quite literally the same ending we got to Dragon Soul, where 4 people/sources are converged into one person who then nukes the big bad.

The only way I see this somehow even remotely working out is that 8.3 is retconned to have just been a “vision” of Ny’alotha and everyone imagined that we defeated N’zoth while he retreats to truly bring the black empire into existence, but that’s a farfetched hope.

Well they already started with Mary Sue stomping the Lich King and his army all by herself so…

I laughed all the way through it.

Especially when the paladin turned Super Saiyan.

I sure hope you’re stating this as solely your opinion because I wholeheartedly disagree with that statement.

Is BFA better than WoD?

…Or…or…

Are they both equally terrible?

Imho, the best WoW cinematics have been in Bfa, especially the ones involving Sylvanas. Whereas, this cinematic was not as good as previous ones, I don’t really care. My thoughts have long since turned to SL.

Was that really it? Holy crap that was short and not even close to as epic looking as it shoulda been. I usually love the end raid cinematics but that was just bad.

They typically don’t remove their own videos unless something bad is happening. If that ratio I saw earlier in this thread is to be believed…ouch. Just ouch. That is probably why. lol

Don’t misquote my quote, please. I enjoyed WOD. BFA is just a mess.

Not really going to dislike it nor like it but I feel disappointed that all these years have been build up to this and get blasted, Dragon Ball Z style.

But in terms of writing, yes this is bad when most endings from previous expansions would link to whatever is hinting at i.e Archimonde yeeting AU Gul’dan to Azeroth in current time, thus starting Legion and since in this cinematic, there is no connecton or link to whatever is next (Shadowlands), all it is N’zoth getting Blasted, the whole place is crumbling and fades into whiteness.

With that being said, all it is wasted of an ending and very disappointing that, Me and my friends can write a better story ending than this from a multi billionaire corporation.

What?

Let’s not give that dude any time of day. Heelsvsbabyface is cancer to our community. F him.

I feel bad for the people who worked hard to make this cinematic. Their work is now being hidden. Not their fault the writing is garbage.
