If you want challenging dungeons go do mythic+ in retail. Wotlk classic is for casual dads who want to get loot showered on them.
Don’t let old bloomy get to you, he gets his dopamine hits from concern trolling the forums.
They are also 20 manning the raids rofl.
Pretty sure the dungeons are undertuned for testing
I doubt it. They were never hard.
I believe you just wrecked his whole argument lol
Wrong expansion for you…
I remember back in vanilla that TBC heroics were extremely hard. I particularly remember the challenges of trying to get the runs done for the SCC/TK key requirements - H SL and H Arca were still hard even with Kara gear.
Coming back to TBC in classic, those heroics weren’t faceroll, but not nearly as hard as I remembered (other than that one boss in heroic BF!). I guess player knowledge and skill has increased a lot since then. Plus final patch talent trees.
But I don’t remember the vanilla WotLK heroic dungeons being nearly as difficult as TBC. So with increases in player knowledge and skill since then, I’m not too surprised they feel faceroll easy now.
RDF doesn’t fix the problems faced by low pop realms. If you genuinely cared about their server health then you should be advocating for realm connections.
heroics are meant to be easy. why do you think every class got better aoe in wrath?
What you describe did not happen. Wotlk heroics were faceroll. They are why many ppl remember tbc as the best expansion ever. They are the reason blizz made an atrempt to increass the difficulty of heroics again in cata. They mistook complexity for difficulty though and ruined that. The main problem with wotlk hetoics was that mobs hit like wimps. There was no cc needed. All tanks couls easily hold aggro in multiple mobs and everyone could aoe spam them down.
RDF was announced at the tail end of BC, was supposed to be in earlier but got delayed to 3.3. Heroics were 100% designed to be cleared by a sub-optimal, random group due to the tool making those the new default.
so being able to do some content instead of no content doesnt help?
What are you talking about ? We were already doing dungeons with “random sub-optimal group” prior 3.3.0. RDF didn’t create “random group dungeons” lol.
You guys are trying so hard to link everything to RDF it’s so weird.
They didn’t design dungeon so early around RDF. What they did to compensate for the “sub optimal groups” was adding a “Luck of the draw” buff.
Completely false. They thought they overtuned heroics for TBC as certain comps couldn’t clear certain heroics in phase 1 without exceptional play.
WotLK they really undertuned them because they added achievements. Want a more difficult encounter? Complete the achievement with it.
Stop with the disingenuous premise. You play on a Horde megaserver. You don’t care about the players on low-pop realms. You just want your lfd tool.
wrath dungeons were never hard, thats why we quickly randomly queued for them and be done with them. IT WAS FUN.
If you want something HARD and new to figure out, as you mentioned, try Dragonflight retail.
for some reason ppl forget that
go to retail if you want something difficult
That’s how it used to be. That’s how it should be.
People acting like removing RDF will undo the past 10 years of WoW…
Sorry people it wont. Please leave Classic Alone.
