Beta invites decreasing

I would love to see some kind of statistic that proves that the majority of the thousands of people in beta right now are streamers or content creators. That, again, sounds like salt.

Well you’re entire lie about the majority being content creators and streamers is just that.

You have at best 100 streamers on the beta

And most likely 5000-6000 non in total on the beta.

Streamers are a minority. Peroid.

Requiring a sub for a chance is the same thing as making you sub for a chance. The for a chance part of the sentence is a very big part of the english language and completely changes the context of me just saying they made us sub. Your response of saying i used the english language wrong is incorrect. You just don’t know how to read or interpret it correctly.

They didn’t “make you sub” its your choice. Again blizz didn’t go to people’s homes and force them to sub.

Couple thousand people.

A handful of streamers.

“majority”.

Ok, mate. Time to go get some fresh air, methinks. Step away from your computer, your phone and just go outside for 5.

Except for when they required subscriptions for TBC and Wrath Beta Tests.

Okay stating a majority of them is an overstatement. It’s not a coincidence that most of the well known streamers are in and that’s a very large percentage in comparison to non streamers who didnt get in. Pokimane got in and never played wow. But again, i am not salty that i didnt get in. I’m salty at how they implemented the process for beta invites. I’m actually okay with streamers being in to help market the game, but requiring a sub when they knew it would be this small is in fact a money grab whether you sheep want to believe it or not.

I’m fairly certain that streamers are only a marginal percentage of the total number of invites.

People forget get.

Blizzard has always required the players to be subbed for beta.

They tend to get beta and ptr confused.

Ptrs are a separate thing and they never required a sub.

Proof of this? Multiple streamers and forum posts have said they don’t remember betas ever requiring a sub. I could be misinformed on that.

lol there’s nowhere near 5k people got invited to the beta, that was a stress test.

like 90% of streamers got invited to beta, and less than 1% of everybody else comparing beta to stress test

If you take percentages instead of raw numbers, the majority of invites were streamers and content creators. Period.

i’m not so sure the average joes you’re speaking of are actually that , not streamers sure but very its likely to me to be friends & family of blizzard/ streamers or other types of influencers such as IGN , I believe a very small portion of the closed beta are actual random accounts.

They are. Take the number of streamers divided by the number of players in wow. Then take the number of streamers divided by the number of players in beta. The percentage majority goes to the streamers.

If you wanted a chance at beta you had to (were forced to) sub. Fact.
In the past there was no sub or purchase requirement. Fact.

They said nothing about their selection criteria(beyond one existing), what they have posted only mentions the sub being needed in order to use a beta invite.

This again?

Blizz’s game, Blizz’s rules, Don’t like the rules? Vote with your wallet.

You voted for Blizz to continue the practice when you subbed for a chance.

Nope. Way more than 5k were in the stress test.

You’re forgetting the stresd test was 1 server. The normal beta has 2. Spreading those players over larger field. Which is why people think is so sparse.

Blizzard has been money grabbing its player base for ten years or more now, if you were not upset by it back then I don’t think you should be now.

That is not what majority means.

Good luck to you, sorry you didn’t get into beta.
