I think transmog definitely looks better on dwarves but I just love draenei so I’ll always play one as my alliance shaman.
Only bad part about dwarf are long weapons, they get cutoff by the ground

I love dwarves i just need some kind of shakeup.
There are very limited good-looking mail transmogs…so it really doesn’t matter, because 90% of the time you will look like doodoo as a shaman.
Female Draenei wear shoulders weird, and dwarves are short and stocky, making armor look like lego blocks sometimes. Male draenei are massive and you run into the orc problem where shoulders are bigger than your head and chest combined.

My dwarf is shirtless, so he usually looks incredible as a Shaman.
I guess I’ll stay WH for now.

Any race can look good in transmog. You just have to tailor the mog to the character. Got a race where shoulders get blown to a ridiculous proportion? Find shoulders with a smaller base model. Short race? Find a less-detailed piece that doesn’t have so much business to get squashed.
If you are trying to argue that mail isn’t the worst looking gear in the game, I don’t know where you’ve been the last 18 years.
Hiding mail armor is in fact a better choice than most mail armor. Ironic.
I will say Leather has been taking it in the teeth lately. The DF pre-patch gear and the Necrolord leather set were both really bad.

Fashion school, apparently, because my mail characters look great.
So because 2 pieces of the dark shaman specific only transmog set from SoO look good, that means all mail armor is great.

What, is your opinion of what constitutes “good looking” gear defined entirely by it being one color, and preferably black?
I dunno what to tell you, pal. If your taste in gear is so narrow that you can’t find a single look you like with something like 500+ different appearances per armor slot, that’s your problem. I never said anything about mail being universally gorgeous, and every armor type has its fair share of garbage looks. If you hate mail in particular, that’s your opinion, not anything remotely resembling an objective fact.
And for the record, my chest is hidden because I’m a thot. Not because I don’t have half a dozen that work with this set.
If mail had a good chestpiece, you would have one on. The two people who have responded to me both are hiding their chestpieces…because mail gear is overall largely bad.
Can you cobble things together that look good? Sure.
Is your current transmog viable on other mail users outside shaman? No. Therefore, when 2 of the 3 mail classes can’t use your “this looks good, despite hiding a major piece of armor” transmog — that is a feels bad moment for mail users.
A simple google search comparing the various slutmogs will once again show while mail (and leather) are garbage tier armor types.
This isn’t just my opinion either — mail has consistently been dragged on as the worst armor type (Hunters especially) for years from multiple people on multiple different websites.

I don’t know how much more clearly I can say this.
I don’t care what the internet thinks about the abstract concept of an entire armor class. There’s plenty of good-looking mail out there, as much as there is bad-looking gear of any other class. The original question was what race looks good in shaman transmogs, and my answer remains that you can make a good shaman mog for any race.
You ragging on my mog from a Classic character doesn’t change that.
