Ok so I’m kind of at my wits end here with this one.
This guy has been harassing me non stop.
It started with him ./point ./spitting on me randomly while afk at the SW bridge where you port in, I came back and saw him standing there spamming that at me… I asked what his problem was and had I done anything to annoy him off and that I suffer from anxiety and other mental health problems and the abuse started with him calling me a r-word and that I shouldn’t be playing games on the internet if I didn’t have the mental capacity to put up with it…not even joking that’s what he said…I’ve tried reporting and ignoring him but he makes new characters to harass and abuse me which I report instantly.
From there it has escalated to him asking to meet up irl to fight, and spamming my characters name in ./4 saying I have been sending nude pics to his underage daughter which is completely false. Ive even had a few warnings from Blizzard about “my behavior” which I imagine is just him getting people to report me based on this complete BS he keeps posting…
This has been going on for two weeks now.
He was banned last week for saying terrible unrelated (to me) stuff in ./4 (which a guild member told me about) but he is back at it today trying to tarnish my name in ./4.
I have been screenshotting all our interactions but unfortunately since there are no game masters I’m not getting anywhere with the reports.
I’m hoping a blue will see this and be able to do something.
Please help…
A normal person would /ignore him and never see his chats/emotes anymore. I feel like you are enjoying being harrassed or this is a freaking lie.
I do ignore him friend, my mates tell me about what he posts in ./4 so I take him off to see…
Not a lie I have all the evidence screenshotted…
I literally post something in ./4 like LFG for whatever and he starts again, i don’t see it and my mate msgs me like “dude hes saying some real messed up stuff about you”
And just to add to this I let it go a really long time ago but he just won’t quit.
He even just randomly msg’d a new warrior I was making (not even knowing it was me) with other abusive stuff, ive had many msgs from other people asking what’s going on then they say yeah he abused me last night for x reason.
I’m hoping they come here and share their experience with this guy.
Why would you care about something that you don’t see in a game ? You play with your guild and your mates, you use rdf to run dungeons, basically you don’t need to have interraction with any others. Moreover, none pays attention to random dumbass spam on /4.

He even just then msgs me like “I’m going to take this to the police” Like he is trying to make it sounds real in chat for blizzards sake I guess?
Ignoring is not enough here this is too far bro, I’m hoping a blue will see this so I can show them all the evidence I have because currently all I can do it report again and ignore and nothing gets done about it.
If you don’t have any evidence on him I would appreciate if you did not comment.

Should take this to the customer support forum there are a lot of helpful people over there they may be able to help you out. I’ve seen similar posts in the past regarding harassment receive a lot of useful replies over there.
This gen discussion is hardly ever helpful for anything really.

I guess we will find out the truth when a Blue looks into everything you have said over the past few weeks buddy.
There was one time i got harassed the same way then I got my account restricted b/c of that jerk…
Yep I’ve had a few in games msgs from blizz saying basically a warning when I haven’t said anything bad to anyone so I would say people in ./4 are reporting me based on what he is saying about me, which is infuriating.

Ignore is made exactly for this.

OP, you should open a ticket to report this, and importantly, note in the ticket that he is “bypassing the ignore feature by making new alts to continue the harassment.”
Their standard response on this type of behavior is to tell you to report, ignore, and move on. But if he is bypassing the ignore feature with alts, then that is more likely to get them to escalate penalties because you have no self help option.
And never unignore him, that just makes the issue messy on whether you are ignoring him or not.

/spit actually doesn’t work anymore, it just spits on the ground, he has a macro that spits on “you” as in he uses it as an emote that shows up to everyone as “spits on you” by using /e spits on you, basically he is just fishing for anyone who will react to these emote. A female name probably isn’t helping If I had to guess.
Assuming hes the bald male paladin who posted sarcastically in this thread, I don’t doubt what you are saying is true, the only advice we can give is make a ticket and put all of his characters on ignore
Unless blizzard changed it or the guy has multiple accounts on different bnet accounts ignoring one character ignores all the characters associated with the account are also blocked.
It came out (as I suspected it would -it normally does) the OP was not exactly the shining beacon of the WoW population either. It appears it was a mutual thing.

I would make a ticket and escalate it to a real person, it will take a week/week and a half but you will eventually get a real GM.
keep making tickets until you get a person instead of an AI. Some people playing this game are just total garbage people, not sure of a solution to it >_<
P.S does ignoring someone stop you from seeing any talk from them in /s ?
