Who is getting banned, the people trading items in raid which isn’t against the ToS? Or the botters? Because if we could skip banning GDKPs in an attempt to drive down the demand for RMT gold and go directly to just banning botters that would be pretty nice.

Using any kind of currency or substitute for currency is the same as GDKP. There’s no way around it, and it’ll earn you a ban if you get caught. Whether it’s gold or fur or something else, it’s pixels on a screen that you’re trading as fake money. Time to use another loot system (oh noes).

Being real for a second - because vendor sold items cost money to get. No one would buy American dollars if there are a 500% upcharge to get the currency. The whole point is that its easy to get a dollar and its easy to trade a dollar for any other currency you want.
With BJ-DKP, you just run the bear jaw printing machine and get more bear jaws. So there’s always more bear jaws.

For sure. But you’re still dividing the gold over the group and having to keep track of each stack. Can max trade 6g worth of stacks at a time. Its just going tk be a hilarious nightmare for anyone actually trying this. The raid will be sitting at the AH for quite some time after trying to get the right amount. Not to mention the AH takes a cut so you’re losing money reselling them.
1 stack sells for 1g to a vendor? Guess your epics will be going for around 16-40g max. How do you plan to redistrubute the jaw bones so everyone walks away with you know a profit? And in both cases, you’re exchanging because it’s easier to use the other over what you currently have.
For only those that can afford the time to spend farming. And those would be bots. So only the bots get the jaws and then list them on the AH for 2-3 times their vendor value because YOU need them to get the item.
…again. This is why you pick a vendor-sold item that everyone can get. Because bots will not be able to profit off it (unless fools ignorantly buy it off the AH; lulz people are selling Fine Thread for like 6 times vendor).
