Except this is specifically because it was bugged prior - and way too strong. Once Blizzard âfixedâ it, now itâs incredibly RNG. Drums are guaranteed.
Do you suggest they ban sappers too? What about potions?
i would suggest they do what everyone suggested and make chicken a guaranteed squawk.
if thats too powerful, make it so only 1-2 squawks could be active at a time.
otherwise, wcl banning squawks is probably the best timeline because rng squawks is dumb.

what confuses me is chickens benefited hunters as well. dont understand why they were against it.

Steam tonk isnât a profession item, you can use it as a non eng.
Yes a hunter using an item that instantly dismissed his pet is obviously in the same league as the 4 minute 25% haste item.
Clearly they are equal.

I agree with the partition. Although i do think the parses will eventually surpass the chickens, they (WCL) are patching so many other things with the logs that all together means a partition should come into place. Its early enough, people are still learning speed / parse mechanics.

This is actually the issue.
It isnât that Blizzard changed how the chicken would proc itâs haste and made it proc in itâs 2.1 iteration the real issue is that WCL will now invalidate your log if you use it.
They could of buffed the chicken and they still would no longer use it.
Now they just mad at hunters and acting petty.

And yeah they removed them because of the RNG element. The admins even said âif you dont think China was going to spend 30 hours in a raid for full chickens you havent been paying attnâ Lol
Hunters can use an item called steam tonk controller and what it does is it replaces your pet with a tank and then you just use a macro to quickly dismiss the tank and it basically acts as an instant cast pet dismiss.
Which is how itâs supposed to act itâs not doing anything itâs not supposed to.
Theyâre basically mad that we are allowed to have that but they canât have chickens.
20 minute cooldown that required the entire party to be engineering and could easily be messed up or your chicken could easily get killed before squawk.
theres no downside to tonk. as you said you dont even need to be engi to use it.
lets not be intellectually dishonest. which is exactly what youre doing by calling it a

Go into the raid and use your chickens and get your 25% haste the changes didnât stop that.

Your pet is like 30-40% of your damage and you are saying instantly saving it from mechanics with an item and resummoning it full health with little to no downtime isnât a huge DPS increase? lmao
