Talk about walking into an Lā¦ that gif makes no sense to the point.
Youād be better off not trying to manipulate people into answering exactly how you want them to.
Reduces a major demand for large sums of gold. Very simple.
You can cry all day that you canāt buy the best gear with illegal gold anymore. No one cares.
Glad I had to explain that for you.
Well, thatās more assumptionā¦ Iāve yet to buy any gear not from the AH.
I mean, you explained your assumption. Good work I guess?
Just absorbing all the Lās eh?
GDKP definitely exacerbates the demand for gold but there is clearly demand without it. Mounts, consumables, professions, gear for alts, just to name a few.
Thatās an interesting point, and I donāt disagree that it might diminish some demand for RMT. But also, if youāre the type of person who RMTs and you canāt buy BoP anymore, maybe you will still buy that Staff of Jordan even though itās technically not BiS.
I did no such thing. Iām asking because I want you and others to actually put yourself in the other sideās shoes, instead of making judgements from your side of the fence.
Youāre taking these clowns way too seriously, man.
If you canāt laugh at zoomer whales, then what fun are they?
āIām not one of them, I just choose to represent themā
You sure got us again!
If people want to P2W for sub-par loot I kind of say letām - not really P2W at that point, Pay for mediocrity? and as Iāve said mounts/conusumes/altgear nothing in SoD is so expensive that you canāt just do a couple quests at level cap to sort out all your gold desires without gdkp
Your answer was effectively the same but you wouldnāt be capable of agreeing with them about the sky being blue on a clear day
Itās not P2W per se but itās definitely still cheating. Maybe it diminishes some demand but I daresay it will mostly just displace it to other avenues. You can still RMT for 2nd best gear and then raid.
Hello. Iāve never participated in a GDKP or purchased RMT.
3/3 posts to me, you have insulted me personally or made baseless disparagements about my motives.
I think itās clear as day who is engaging in good faith here.
Yes ofc, ban all rmters, but I personally care less when people spending ridiculous amounts of money for pre-raid bis. However somebody spending a ton of money to get their bis and then start crushing people in pvp - now weāve got a problem that the removal of GDKP has solved
He did this in another thread. Heās an angry little man who goes around assuming anyone who isnāt against GDKP is partaking in them or is for RMT. There is no convincing them otherwiseā¦ just wants to see the negative in everything.
Itās really amazing how all these people are defending GDKPs, but none of them actually participate in them.
Thatās a really interesting perspective. You are entitled to your opinion, though I feel remiss to point out that that means you are actually okay with RMT in principle - so long as the best gear is off-limits.
Unfortunately, that is the internet writ-large. People want to judge, not understand.
Stranger things have life have happened. Itās not really that crazy for people to have opinions about things that donāt directly affect them. Why do you think people read the news?
In general I agree with your point of view.
However, we all saw how things went with GDKP that existed in the Retail, WOTLK-C, and Classic Eras. So getting a chance to see how things go without it in SoD maybe a ānecessary experimentā
I am not okay with RMT, but it is something that you have to accept happens as player. Not going to pretend like I know how hard it is to shut out, but blizzard, and pretty much every gaming company in the world has failed in that department. At least in this iteration of the game me and somebody that rmts $100 or $1000, or even $10,000 have the same odds of getting bis items which means the game isnāt p2w
So anyone who defends GDKP has to do them? Thatās oddā¦ youāve never supported anything that you didnāt partake in?
I donāt necessarily agree, but that is an interesting way of approaching the issue and I appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts.
Of course, that approach does mean there will still be a market for farmers and bots. But maybe thatās a price we just have to pay for an online game.
