They did it thru the apropriate forums classic general forums those that deal with this kinda thing dont come here this is a player to player support forum.

My main account just got hit with a 6 month ban for hacking accusations??? I have never in my wow life once used any botting, hacking, or third party software. Ticket is open but I’m trying to wrap my head around this, I’ve never had any issues on either of my wow accounts until now…

Same happened to me on Saturday night. I put in an appeal and the ban was removed today, just have some patience.
