I just was banned for “hacking” and I have never used a single cheat on my account. I have a stream that I use 24/7 when playing to prove this. Please let me know if this proof will suffice.
I just got banned too and have no idea why
Blizzard doesn’t need external proof as they have their own internal logs.
If you feel that this was an error, please be sure to put in an appeal.

My only issue with this is there has apparently been a huge wave, so now ban appeals are going to take days upon days, with only one week before Classic TBC. I’ve already put mine in but I’m pissed.
I think it’s premature to assume a ticket will take a week and either way, a ticket is the only way to appeal.
Premature, yes, and honestly it’s the rage talking, but with how many false reports I’ve been seeing on other forum posts and the Classic subreddit, they’re going to have a lot of appeals to sift through.
Every single time a banwave hits, we see plenty of people who come here stating they’re innocent.
Sometimes they get overturned, and other times the ban is upheld. Not everyone who says that they’re innocent really is ;). Not saying that’s you, just saying not to trust everything you read on Reddit
I definitely don’t but you have to understand that I’m just really, really angry… So I’m sorry if I’m coming off as hostile or anything. I just don’t want to wait 24 hours to keep playing with my friends now that they’ve all finally returned to the game.
EDIT: My GF and I both got unbanned. TLDR the likely culprit is ConsolePort
My girlfriend and I BOTH just got banned, which is crazy because she barely even plays! I leveled all the way through WoW Classic to 60 and “completed” Shadowlands and have been waiting for 9.1. She didn’t even play Shadowlands.
The ONLY commonality between her account and mine is that she asked if she could try playing WoW with a controller like on FF14, and I said let me look into it— so I installed ConsolePort.
That is literally the only commonality between our two accounts, it’s crazy how she gets banned but like lol she doesn’t even play the game as much as I do!
Also suffice it to say we don’t BOT! lol we don’t even know HOW to bot!!!
Did you and your Girlfriend file an appeal ticket?
i saw in a recent ban post yesterday someone said the programming code used by consoleport is the same codings used by IBS or whatever the multiboxing tool is that multi boxers use that was banned recently back in like march so its possible your and your girls account got banned and caught up in it as a result, to everyone else here making posts on CSF isnt going to do you any good, send in your appeal tickets and wait, gms dont exist here. never have.
only thing anyone can tell you is wait and good luck.
Yes, I filed it just now, but I didn’t really know how to categorize it though because one of the choices is “Appeal Account Action” and under that it says “we will only overturn it if your account has been compromised”.
The thing is, I use the authenticator app on my phone, so I can’t imagine my account was possibly compromised. Additionally, I haven’t seen any fishy emails saying my password has been changed. So I don’t know what evidence of account compromise they will find?
Your girlfriend is gonna have to file one too.
That’s the correct option. I linked it near the start of the thread too.
That makes 100% sense. I am positive that’s what triggered this, as Consoleport is the ONLY commonality between her account and mine.
^That is the reason
Is console port a bannable offense? I was under the impression that it is an add on. Would playing two WoWs at once be considered multi boxing? If you are playing it yourself on mouse and keyboard and tabbing between the games?
I got banned a few minutes ago, I also use ConsolePort.
a large portions of bans that went out were for afking in bgs. I understand that their hacking team also deals with that so maybe that is what the ban is for?
There was also a recent change prohibiting “streamlining” multi boxing. I have no clue what that means though.
From what some of us have gathered. Streamlining is whatever software or hardware trick to make multiboxing easier to accomplish.
