Banned for being hacked

So Basically my account was hacked and the person who hacked me did something to break the guidelines and got my account banned. I was able to kick the hacker off my account through an hour of changing emails and passwords and finally was able to set up an authenticator to stop it from happening in the future. I went to bed and woke to my account being banned for breaking guidelines. I have no idea what the hacker did, but it was a perma ban and I received no explanation on why. I have submitted a ticket and I get an automated response which is bullcrap. I am sure I don’t understand how the login data works, but wouldn’t someone be able to tell the location of the login was outside of the US? I am just so frustrated because I know I have essentially lost my WOW account of 15 years now for doing nothing and there is nothing I can do and nothing Blizzard will do. Side note never had a history of getting banned, but does that matter nope. I am venting about a system that feels like you can do nothing to receive help. Just terrible. I have resorted to making a free account and leveling just to be heard. I tried to two tickets and after an auto-response and no answer on the other, this was my last effort to see if I could get any help. I am happy to provide all relevant information to show I am in fact the owner of my other account.

Banned is perfectly normal open a comprimised account ticket make sure ur computer 100% clean should all be cleared up.

Follow the instructions in this article.

After securing your account and computer, you should open a ticket for a GM to review the account and reverse any of the damage that might have happened.

This needs to come in through the compromise tickets . While it IS an appeal, compromises trump that.

I have cancelled both my suspension appeal tickets today after reading this, but it says i have too many open tickets? do tickets still count as open even after i cancel them?

Sometimes it just needs a little bit of time for the system to update itself.

Just to make sure, when you look at your https://us.battle.net/support/en/help/case page, they should all be reading either canceled or resolved - correct? Nothing is “processing” or “open”?

For completeness sake, this thread OP is one that was found wandering over on the generic Blizzard forums so was sent here for better guidance.

This is what I was not sure about. I had a feeling that was the right answer! Hopefully the OP can get the old tickets to clear and put one in.

There has been an issue lately with old tickets not clearing, or the browser registering as not cleared.

Some suggestions people can try:

  • Try clearing browser cookies and cache (be sure you know the login info for this new account first!)
  • Try browser incognito mode
  • Try a different browser or device
  • Put in the ticket from the new account - making VERY clear which account was compromised and which one you are trying to get restored.

I have opted to put in the ticket on this account after waiting 24 hrs. and trying everything. I mentioned my username and the email associated with other account hopefully this will lead to something. Thank everyone in this thread for the help hopefully i can give everyone an update.
