The two word thing is admittedly geared towards the RP servers. It’s clearly listed under the additional rules for those who play on those realms, not the general populace.
That doesn’t excuse the fact that your name IS offensive. Maybe not to you, but the sexual connotations are what will likely keep the ruling upheld, no matter your explanation of why it is what it is. (I’m again going to point out that there isn’t any such excuse for your round of mages that are more obvious in the spelling offense that you should definitely be self-reporting to try and save yourself from).
You’ve taken that completely out of context, they were talking about the additional systems, currencies etc they kept adding to the game.
It has nothing to do with enforcing the rules - something Blizzard has been pretty stringent with over the years.
This thread is prime example why discussing account action is against forum rules too - always ends up with the OP claiming they’re innocent and everyone else is wrong.
A name doesn’t need to be sexual to be deemed offensive or inappropriate.
What you think it is or why you chose the name just doesn’t matter. What the community thinks is what governs a disciplinary action on a name, not what you think, or say you think.
I have no idea why this thread continued. It should have died off a while ago, especially since the responses have been less than receptive to taking anyone’s advice…

What you believe you are pointing out isn’t at all how it works. The reports a name may receive only contribute towards the generation of a ticket to have a Game Master review the name. If that name has been reported and reviewed before it will usually go on a list of inappropriate names, which makes future reports for any other characters that may also have that name easier and quicker to process.
Your name is not automatically judged inappropriate based on the report or the volume of reports you may receive. You could have 10 accounts all reporting the same name but if the name isn’t deemed inappropriate or otherwise in violation of our policies nothing will happen.
Yes, which simply means that due to the reports this name has been brought to our attention and reviewed… It has been deemed inappropriate. That’s it.
You will need to wait for your appeal to be reviewed. That is the only avenue to appeal. This forum is not an appropriate means of appealing nor will posting here speed up the process.
