No, you don’t buy the guide in the addon. You can Upload a guide sold by a third party to the addon. the creator of the addon doesnt sell ANYTHING. the website that sells the guides IS NOT THE CREATOR OF THE ADDON. i don’t know how many times I have to repeat this. They created a discord and website that mirrors the name of the addon, and then sell things that can be uploaded into the addon. The creator AND the addon itself did not break any ToS, because they don’t sell anything.
The real fraud is people who set up patreon accounts to sell their RXP guides for money and haven’t uploaded anything in over 3 years and are silently collecting monthly payments from people with more money than brain cells.

I feel like people are just not reading the ToS. It clearly says “charge for services RELATED to the addon”. Does it only run in RestedXP? Is it a for pay service? It violates ToS!
Demanding people create ways to make things easier for free is peak first world entitlement. Insane.

It’s not they use a technicality to get around this. The addon is free, they sell optional DATA which you can load into the addon. It’s actually a pretty nice QoL guide, used it heavily in TBCC.
Cata is so easy and quick I don’t really think we’ll need it. Isn’t there a built-in quest helper in Cata? I think you’re just salty some WoW nerds found a way to make some dough doing something they enjoy.
GDKP (and the token) has a far, far more negative affect on the community than RXP lol.
Who the heck would pay for an addon? Just make a free account on the elite pvpers forum and download it for FREE. They have every “paid” addon on that forum for free, with timely updates too so you are never missing out.
If you are paying for addons you are a literal

The ToS is right there for you to read. You can’t argue around it. Saying, “You’re just wrong” doesn’t make it so. “Facts dont care about your nerdrage” is a rather ironic thing to say considering the above.
Just get the cracked version if you want it for free, if you think the addon is so inferior then just simply don’t use it. The use of it doesn’t affect your gameplay lol no need to police the zoomer ipad kids that wanna follow an arrow and watch Cocomelon while they game
The topic is not about using it, or it being unfair, or anything related to use. It’s the selective enforcement of ToS that allows RestedXP to violate ToS.
