Ban RestedXP

Even if it doesn’t, it’s nice to hound Blizz about it. Let 'em know we know that they know it is against ToS.

If they cared they would have done something over the last 20 years

I think I’ll keep reminding them

You keep screaming into that void then lol

It’s not that strange blink. They want a return to 2004, they just don’t realize that’s not possible and forcing players to play a certain way just makes them quit.

Now WHY they want a return is usually malicious. I.e. everyone ELSE needs to slow down so I, ME ME ME, dosen’t get left behind!

The funny part is it’s for a game on its second run.

Heavily p server’d since release.

And even retail converts like me…Leveled the game before chromie time. Now I used retail tree around legion/bfa but the rest ran almost the same. Minus set bonuses working. Blizzard kills those off later.

For example for the low price of 0 gold, to avoid rmt of $0.00, hunter will land level level for best efficiency . They will drive to the edge of the fire lands from hyjal.

Why asks a hunter are you telling me want to do.

Answer: Ben’thalos.

This very nice spirit pet is a quest unlocker. Hunters will not see them until quests strings are done. You must run land quests to fire lands border to see them.

No quests, no see. The Barney Style version.

Go water world to get ben’thalos you now run the land crap anyway. Have at it if their thing.

Also for free….google a ben’thalos macro. You will be jumping, and getting aggro trapping but not killing this spirit bird while casting tame.

Macro makes this easier. Many places have it for free. I found a few from these years when I collected the owl in retail even. Google knows the way,

No. It. Is. Not.

Technically if you have to pay for any part of the addon even extra stuff it’s technically against the ToS.

But clearly Blizzard really doesn’t care because it helps their low sub numbers.

It’s not a different addon, it’s data, the addon remains the same, it’s like foji the info you add to it costs money the addon is 100% free, there is no premium addon.

You know you’re wrong. I know you’re wrong. Anyone that can read the ToS knows you’re wrong. :skull:

Well that’s the add-ons work around

They implemented the free version to a certain level obviously to bypass the TOS
Cuz it’s technically “free” for everyone

I was telling someone else

They can/are bypassing this cuz the addon itself has a “free” version which is accessible by everyone

So technically they cheesing the system

It’s not a work around, a loop hole, or any other word to describe the clever bypass of rules. It is CLEARLY against ToS(access to “data” and “guides” is a service), but ToS is just not evenly enforced by Blizz.

I beg to question though why is it bothering you that much to make a post about it?

It’s a paid service that has a free downloadable addon

In which the actual addon itself is not a purchase
Very cheap cheesy loophole

Thanks for agreeing that it is against ToS

Except the addon is free, there is no paid version of the addon at all, all features are in the addon. The data source it links to isn’t part of the addon, your inability to understand is fascinating
