It’s a waste of time, and I can’t even get into a normal mythic. Even my alts can’t even get into a mythic because of how low it is… I find it very offensive and blizzard needs to be banning players for using Raider IO.

Find friends/a guild to play with and you will not have to worry about it. It is needed for people that pug high keys. They need to be able to see what you can handle. I agree it is stupid when doing low mythics, but people want to play with others that have the same skill set which is totally fine imo.

My hunter is only around 500 io but it wasn’t difficult to achieve nor will it be to get that number higher. The key is to run your own keys, I think.

So you should be able to join anyone’s raid or m+ without being inspected or gear checked?
This is why I think blizzard should do a weekly m+/heroic/mythic raid event that allows you to que up for content your ilvl allows. Imagine how funny the forums would be if people could just que up for a +10 with no sort of communication or ability to filter players.

Okay, so that means that when you are fully equipped with 445+iLvl gear for being able to do run all M+15 or above you will accept to carry someone with much less iLvl, someone who clearly can’t even carry their own weight on a +10?
Raider IO is used to people can see not only if your character is evolved enough to do the M+, but if you are able to handle the mechanics on high keys on an alt too.
If you aren’t able to run a +15 on any alt and your character is undergeared it’s pretty obvious that you’re not prepared.
Funny the most toxic m+ groups I’ve been apart of didnt require raider IO lower keys always have someone raging about deaths and timers and when you go look at what they have completed they don’t even have a 9 on time

Having played during the era of “Gearscore” when people were begging to be judged based on their ability and experience rather than gear, it’s fascinating to see that now that it’s real, people are begging not to be judged based on their experience.

I’m pretty sure 95% of people will just take anyone with a pulse to a +0, people don’t even check io most of the time for low keys (2-9) 
It’s mostly in 10+ where people start to check io.
