Ban Premades

Or don’t. I don’t care - frankly I’m surprised the game still exists at all - but the unresolved issue sucks the life out of these forums and some obviously do care.

Basement dwellers will list all the reasons for and against. What’s probably more important at this point is a definitive statement to put the issue to rest and stop these critters polluting the boards, all day, every day.

New expac represents a good a point as any. Pull the trigger, Blizz. Ban them or keep them. Just do … something.

My preference is queue syncing be made near impossible or bans be issued.

Premade raiders don’t care about definitive statements.

Blizzard said they don’t want premade raids in random bgs because players get driven away from PvP.

Do premade raiders care?

No.

The game does not allow players to queue for random bgs in a raid group. Do premade raiders care? No.

Premade raiders only care if bans are handed out or not.

That’s why I will continue to call for their permanent ban till its fixed.

I get this. But “banning” who? And for what?

No, what needs to be done is action, not words. So something like cross faction BGs, which is probably the easiest step to take first.

I don’t think blizz gives a giant terd whether premades exist in non rated PvP.
They only care about content that generates token sales. I’ll fight anyone on this fact. Let’s meet at the bike racks nerds

Those that are exploiting, for greifing and ruining the game for others.

Cheating

You are responsible for how you and your account are represented in the game world. Cheating in any fashion will result in immediate action. Using third-party programs to automate any facet of the game, exploiting bugs, or engaging in any activity that grants an unfair advantage is considered cheating.

Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.

Personally would just enable raid queues and everything solves itself.

Wouldn’t that just remove whatever barrier impedes premades now?

The reason they have to drop ques in order to do it is cause raid queing is disabled.

Blizzard enabled raid queues for Ashran when it was first released. They gave premade raids another shot.

Things did not turn out well.

Premade raids roflstomped pugs nonstop. Premade raids avoided other premade raids and looked for instances where they could roflstomp pugs.

So, Blizzard disabled raid queues.

It’s time to disable pings in EBG’s because the players that use it and follow them have an unfair advantage over the players that don’t and my team has no chance to win vs teams that use pings so it’s obviously unfair.

It’s time to disable /rw and chat in EBG’s because the players that use it and follow them have an unfair advantage over the players that don’t and my team has no chance to win vs teams that use pings so it’s obviously unfair.

I’m asking for those two things to be BANNED because players that use them are obviously trash players who are cheaters which is why they beat me every game and they need carries to get 1800 in Arena cos they’re so bad!

If anyone reading this think I’m joking or being ridiculous; understand that you are complaining about a group of people doing exactly what I’m jokingly asking to be banned. I’m not the one seriously asking for players who use /rw and pings to be banned but you unironically are.

See how insane you sound?

Everytime I read one of these threads I imagine you guys clutching your pearls exclaming “how DARE they work as a team or listen to each other! BLIZZZZZARRRRDDDD!!!”

Do players circumvent restrictions when they use those things?

A group of people who circumvent restrictions to bring premade raids on voice chat into a bracket that does not allow players to queue as a raid group.

Premade raids on voice chat have significant advantages over a team of random pugs. These are unfair advantages in a bracket that’s not supposed to have premade raids.

Now for the million dollar question:

What advantage to premades have once they’re in the EBG?

Please don’t say Discord or voice comms. If you guys are really asking Blizzard to ban people for having friends I’m gonna fall off my chair.

the near-promise that anyone involved with the premade is going to be on a similar page and is highly likely to play the whole game through?

you specifically can’t queue with more than 5 people because they don’t want you to queue as more than 5 people

you’re being purposely dense

So there should be no coordination or teamwork of more than 5 people in a 40 man team?

What about the premades that are 5 people or less (which is most btw)?

Isn’t that kind of the point and goal? The team with better teamwork wins? There is nothing stopping non-premades from competing and beating them with better teamwork btw. It happens all the time.

how did you read what I just wrote and take that away from it?

yeah, it does happen all the time

but 15-20 individual “groups” of unique players randomly queueing into eachother and working together to achieve a goal is healthy, and ideal. but it isn’t the same as a single group of 30 people (comms or no comms) queueing TOGETHER and achieving the same goal

these aren’t the same, and blizzard has specifically avoided that type of situation by limiting it to groups of 5

arguing any other point is borderline roleplay

i won’t even get into the fact that, when these premades get pops that aren’t all synced, they abandon the queue… which creates 25v40s for the first minute etc

I feel like everyone in this forum already knows this information.

If someone is new, premade raids on voice chat have:

  • More coordination. You have a coordinated team on voice chat going against random pugs who are not on voice chat.
  • More healers. Premade raids can guarantee their team will have at least a certain number of healers. The pug team will likely have noticeably fewer healers.
  • More meta specs. Premade raiders play specs that are good in epic bgs. The pug team will likely have fewer meta specs.
  • More gear. The premade raid’s average ilevel is probably higher. The pug team will have more players who are new to PvP and they’re not geared.
  • More experience playing together. You have a premade raid who plays together all the time going against a team of random pugs who may have never played together before.

Because voice communication isn’t an advantage?

^

It’s bad enough premade raids ruin the games they’re in, but they’re also ruining other players’ games every time they mass drop queue pops in their attempts to circumvent the system.

They can’t ban premades cause then the bg forums would die forever. Blizzard can’t let that happen at any cost

There is obviously an advantage. It is clear when you see their win rates are 90% when in a premade but then when they queue solo their win rates are 50%.

every single day i have at least a handful of EPIC BG ruined by these premade groups

its so sad the game quality is really trash atm if i gotta be honest
