Lets say, GDKPs are banned. How will that stop RMTs, exactly?
Here’s the part going over your head: Players can still buy gold online and use it in the AH to purchase powerful BOEs, consume etc. - Which has zero to do with GDKPs.
I don’t really care about that because it will massively reduce the amount of botting. GDKPs are 90% of the gold demand or more. The only one with 2 brain cells here is the dude defending something that exacerbates the problem because “the problem will still be there.” Completely ignoring the fact that it will MASSIVELY reduce it.
You’ll never 100% remove RMT from any game that has a trade system in it. But, removing GDKPs will vastly reduce it and improve the overall quality of the game by miles.
Maybe one day there will be an actual punishment for buying gold. But apparently it’s not going to happen any time soon, as expected the way Blizzard likes to claim they ‘run’ things.
You obviously dont understand the game, there is nothing wrong with gdkps. Remove the 100s of bots in duskwood and dont even think about adding token to any version of classic. Gdkps are a solid system, aquiring gold from illegal sources, rmting or botting or straight pay to win is not.
You’re the only one here that doesn’t understand this game, dawg. I’ve been playing Vanilla-WOTLK exclusively for 10 years on private servers. They don’t have these issues because they all ban GDKPs for this very reason.
GDKPs create a reason and incentive to bot and RMT. Remove them and it basically goes away almost entirely. It’s actually insane how many brain dead people don’t understand a basic concept like that.
GDKPs are also still the worst loot system in the game even if you remove botting and RMT.
I been playing wow twice as long as you, you obviously have no clue what you’re talking about played on many pservers, before you even picked up the game. GDKPS are a great system, people buying gold, blizzard closing eyes on botting or even selling token is not. Obviously you dont understand this issue so please dont waste my time with reply, after all you a paladin (: .
Yeah, you’ve been playing wow since before 2004? Impressive.
It’s a wonder you’re able to function IRL. Also imagine discrediting someone because of their class icon. Lmfao. Cringe as hell. I’ve literally played every class max level. But, ok bud.
I said dont waste my time with reply and there you go immediately cant keep your mouth shut. Okay brother let me explain to you the root of the problem there are close to no punishments for gold buying, people get banned for 3-7days and often the gold doesnt even get removed. Private servers would perma ban gold buyers and you would be suprised how the demand for gold went down, people were not gonna risk their 200hours account for extra 1k gold. Untill Blizzard implements real sanctions and penalties for gold buying this problem will only grow and with implementation of token the normalization of gold buying is even bigger now. Blaming gdkps for gold buying makes pretty much no sense because in a world where people dont RMT gdkp is one of the best systems out there. And I will make fun of your class icon all day, because there is nothing more cringe then blood elf paladin. As well I not only played every class to max level I played over 100chars to max level so your experience might be good, but falls short when compared to mine. Please dont reply and waste my time again. thank you
Lmao. Eat S**t. What an egotistical arrogant single brain celled tool. Thanks for the copy pasta, though. Really giving over 300 confirmed kills vibes.
No, GDKPs are popular because you people are shamelessly buying gold and want to get ahead by swiping a credit card, destroying the game in the process. If you are going to defend it, at least be honest about what you are doing.
Bro you play WOTLK private servers. You’re the last person I want giving input in classic+
Garbage expansion. And GDKPs only exist because of this stupid design where we are suppose to run the same dungeon/raid over and over again until we get all the gear and then wait for the next raid tier.
There’s an assumption and accusation all in one. Are you pointing the finger at others to prevent the eyes from looking at you?
Stop buying gold. And stop supporting people who buy gold. If you or someone you know is buying gold, report yourself or the people you know, and be the solution, rather than the problem.
Because it is an ugly accusation you’re making, and you are attempting to slander someone and make it out as though they are are gold buyer simply because they are asking questions and giving positive opinions about a loot system that you don’t personally seem to like.
Reading your comment, I’ll try to give the benefit of the doubt, that you are not just being malicious and accusatory towards anyone who doesn’t share your opinion by attacking and labeling them as something negative, against the EULA and worthy of account action. That isn’t a very good way to have a conversation with someone, nor to illicit further conversation, learning, or even truth, at least in my opinion.
