SoD is an Era fun server Blizz had to drop the ban hammer on because it was that obvious and bad. SoD is sinking cuz the honeymoon period is over and people realized it sucks. If RMT fueled GDKP was keeping that ship afloat then its just more evidence the game sucked and was gonna flake out regardless. Maybe GDKPs helped kill it, who knows? No one here thats for sure.
Kind of a moot point since its not in any danger of going anywhere. Neither is Era coincidentally. Braindead is believing your own biased hyperbole about a loot selling scheme thats completely freakin optional.

You’d have to prove how much illicit gold was being pumped in via GDKPs on at least a weekly or monthly basis and back it up with impact statistics on the overall market.
You are not prepared or in any kind of position to do that. We can assume some cheating but thats about it.

What you can argue is if the effects are good, bad, minimal, etc.

You didn’t if you’re talking about people clearing Naxx. If you’re looking at guilds that cleared Naxx, yes world buffs were indeed utilized.
You’re right, it can’t. Because its your opinion and/or personal experience.
I play horde and alliance on the mankrik cluster. AH pricing is more or less what you would expect given each factions climate and GDKPs are but a fraction of the overall raid scene. SR pugs are not myths, there’s plenty of guilds raiding and recruiting and sometimes you can hitch a ride with a guild with a few open spots.
Or sell a couple of those bank alt BOE epics and stacks of rare herbs on the AH so youre green geared alt can pay the most unfairly burdened yet kind and generous people who want to help you help them keep Era alive for all of us via the miracle machine that is GDKP. People like Ikanaide who will both show and tell you how much they really care.
If someone is having a different experience or seeing it differently than me there’s not much to be said.
Just like GDKP isn’t the only reason to play Era, its not crushing it into the dirt either. Really, people just need to mind their own business and do their own thing.
If I felt that you really felt that way, you wouldn’t have taken side with the same ppl you are arguing with here in my topic about a one-time free boost for missed clones.

There are people who hate GDKPs and people who love GDKPs. Typical totally subjective pvp is better than pve flame war where it becomes a moral duty to defend your bias with as much hyperbole and hysterics as possible.

I think I finally figured it out…
The people against GDKP with a religious fury are just the types of people who would stand on top of the mailbox in town so people inspect them to see their accomplishments.
These people put a lot of their self value into what they have achieved in game since their real lives are miserable.
So when they perceive that all the people that do GDKP must be buying gold and circumventing they great achievements only someone as great as them could pull off, they become angry as they think it diminishes them as a person.
Truly sad stuff I must say. Their egos are so out of whack they spew out ideas without thinking how that same thing has played out before or would play out in the future.

Playing dumb doesn’t help this conversation.
“World buffs were utilized”- showing up to Naxx with an Ony and ZG on some DPS is very different from every raid expecting every raider to have every world buff. Scheduled drops on server discords. Etc.
