most fresh 60s don’t have 200g to spend on gear.
You make like 3k gold min leveling a toon in Era and getting prebis from dungeons.
If you can’t make 200g I also don’t ever want to be in a raid with you.
Exactly, so it’s not about the player, the DPS, or anything else. It’s about you buying the item. It’s a paid carry from retail. It’s not a PUG DKP system.
You keep using this term leech to describe people who aren’t filling your gaping, grotesque, tusk-filled gullet with RMT gold - not for people who are not performing in the raid. You are the leech.
No you cant!!! That is an absolute lie.
Are you selectively ignoring what I write, daft, or have an agenda?
I was clear that all players should be performing to the best of their ability given their gear. That includes consumes, etc.
Very often you see buyer warriors out-dps some of the carry warriors, because they are just way better players with a ton more experience on alts.
What you never see is a good player not min bid on an upgrade. They will cry that they don’t have gold but want the item and find a way to get the item. Because they care about the upgrade, they CARE ABOUT THEIR PERFORMANCE in the raid.
Only leeches sit around and try to not buy upgrades to just ‘take gold’ and they always underperform for what a decent player would do given their gear. They never use full or proper consumes. You can see it from a mile away.
Yes, it is very different. Because you could easily find no GDKP.
Endgame in classic isn’t that hardcore. GDKP makes it either extremely hardcore… or you buy gold just to play normally.
Yet it was far more hardcore in 2006.
Weird.
Yeah people were definitely leveling 5 warriors to run 15 raids per week in 2006. People weren’t even consuming or running min-max specs.
Way easier to do with how much the game has been disected.
Yeah. They were.
Just LMFAO at normalizing running a Lost Ark style roster of alts in order to compete with GDKP swipers.
There were literally not enough lotuses in the game for whole raids to flask.
WoW raiding had a reputation for being try-hard in 2006, but by a total different standard. 2006 raiding was casual status compared to the farm animal freakshow we have in classic today.
You are very welcome to make any type of raid you want.
The fact you feel comfortable trying to stop others from doing so, is the real concern in this thread.
GDKPs are pugs for people who want to pump and except others to be on their A game as well. They aren’t for people that want a ‘causal’ guild experience in which nobody looks at the meters and it doesn’t matter if the bosses don’t die. If you have to go walk your dog for 10 minutes in an hour, don’t join a gdkp.
What does GDKP have to do with having a bunch of alts? Era has been going for 5 years. Of course they’re going to have a bunch of 60s. What a dumb thing to say.
And if they raid more because of GDKP so what? GDKP has made the game more active. What’s the problem?
You keep insisting RMT drives the entire thing. Like the raids wouldn’t happen without it. I reject this assertion. People just enjoy the game.
Pick whichever helps you read the text you quoted more easily.
Ultimately, GDKPs are detrimental and ought to be eliminated from the game. Blizzard should recognize the improvement in SoD since the removal of this harmful loot distribution raid system.
hahahaha
They def realized the impacts.
It’s been amazing! Now they just need to implement it in the rest of the game versions.
Population dropped 50% within two weeks.
Dropped 80% within 4 months.
The amount of times insults were used in the SoD forums went up 3x within 2 weeks of the ban.
Currently insults, towards players or dev team, are up over 10x relative to pre-gdkp ban values in the SoD forums.
I’m sure they learned some great lessons
Lmfao. Absolutely cringe shameless gaslighting weirdo.

Lol this was not solely due to GDKP ban there was more to it then that!!!
