Criticism is easily construed as insult by certain parties
it is what you might call the new intolerance, new but intense desire to gag uncomfortable voices of dissent

People who are insulting and offensive, esp on purpose, need to improve their immunity to being offended when people tell them to get out. That they don’t want them around. They need to stop acting like a victim when they are dealt the consequences of their own actions.
People can say what they want without going to jail, but nobody else has to put up with it on private property.
Disagreement and criticism are actually fine - people pretend that others got angry about the message when it is not what was said, but HOW it was said.

Hehe brings to mind when a parent of some kid who got banned from XBox Live contacted them to find out why. The kid had lied and told the parents they did nothing wrong. Turns they’d exposed themselves over webcam while playing Uno
Did OP ever reveal what they were sanctioned for? Nobody complains about bans and suspensions unless they’ve been banned or suspended, and no one complains about ‘the community’ until they learn the hard way that the community isn’t willing to tolerate their anti-social BS.
