It’s like me saying
Did you know eating bananas will kill you because of radiation?
Technically a true statement, but also a stupid statement cuz you’re gunna need to eat like a million bananas in one sitting
Its possible, but really not gunna happen

I wasn’t aware that Staysafe was Asmongold, but I guess in your reality that’s perfectly sensible.
Streamer telling folks to break the rules, blatantly lying about it, and profiting off controversy. Certainly no better than the rest of the streamer crowd.
That said, reality’s quite nice, you should visit sometime. You won’t have to be angry about things that aren’t real.

I really don’t care for streamers. They can make or break WoW. That is why they have to be very careful on what they say about WoW. One bad comment about a class and players will stop playing WoW. There are some players who so committed to playing one class and that’s all they play.
People who do or don’t do things just because some random guy with a webcam says so has bigger issues they need to deal with.
Don’t forget the 2+ instances of peoples LFG adverts getting mass reported and AUTOMATED SUSPENSIONS being applied and having to get removed by a GM
Then just dont be mean and you wont be banned, GG.

No, I’ve seen their setup. They aren’t in any guilds, all chat (general, trade etc) are disabled.
The only thing they do is PVP so I am guessing a team / group got upset at my friend and just mass reported them for constantly killing them and bagging after which from my understanding isn’t really against the rules.
Lies and misinformation. What you’re saying has been repeatedly debunked. But you can believe the lying streamers making clickbait for cash if you want.

A long while ago, I was applying the free levels you get from Recruit a Friend. Someone saw me doing it and messaged me, asking me to do that to them too. I said “I can’t.” They replied “that’s ok, I’ll report it”, I said “report what?” They said “powerleveling”. I rolled my eyes and ignored it. A couple hours later, my account suddenly logged out. I went to log back in, banned. I had to talk to a GM to find out why. Reason: “powerleveling”.
I could not believe what I read. I thought I was in the twilight zone. I got the whole “we conducted a thorough investigation” speech. After 2 appeals, I finally got told they made a mistake.
There was nobody else in the area, so it would only have been that 1 guy reporting.

You’ve changed perspectives, though.
From the responsibility of what you say to the effect of it on the people hearing it.

oh. well, i figured that was true for other games, but in as far as i can tell in my years of playing WoW since MoP, the WoW community’s never presented itself that way. granted, my memory’s not great, so… maybe back in legion. but not in recent years.
In vanilla, I, as Horde, had to work with Alliance to open the AQ gates. There was a quest for Horde to talk to a wisp near Teldrassil in the tree as an example
The community project now is to protect our home (Azeroth) from everyone who seeks to control the planets soul.
Sadly, some people do not realize the above IMO.
Agreed, but I got banned for a week for just being a little dirty in the Barrens general channel. No racism, no sexism or homophobia etc.
Again, peeing on my leg and telling me it’s raining.
