I used to laugh at players that did only solo content but now after being banned for 10 days because I called my team “weak bots” I’m going to become one of those players. Solo Quest and Rep Farm only. No more Pvp and No more mythics.
That’s good, if you can’t help insult people you should avoid playing with others. Or try disabling chat.
Ah, that might make more sense. I read it phonetically and it was close enough to “identity” that I figured it was just some weird way to say that.
Yeah, sorry - I misunderstood, sorry about that.
But yeah, idiot is a weird word to use because in of itself it is fine in general but directed at someone it isn’t. So… best idea would likely to not use it when directed towards others. Unfortunately it is a word that is used as an insult, it is an insult to be called it, but to stating that something is idiotic isn’t necessarily such.
So… that’d be entirely context based.
Well then you’re only a problem for yourself, not for anyone else. If you can even consider that a problem. Maybe you don’t speak their langage.
Oh this Blizzard talking point again.
It has been demonstrated numerous times during livestreams that mass-reporting gets people silenced for a week (and they get the email immediately saying as much).
You weren’t causing issues for Blizzard, you were causing issues towards other players. There’s nothing in-game that alerts Blizzard of player’s behaviours but it is dependant on other players reporting you - which is why we can talk however we want to with friends, as long as said friends are fine with people talking the way that they wanna do.
And no, when you are causing issues for other players for weeks then that just indicates you as a problematic and disruptive player. In other words, you were wrong in what you were doing and that’s all there is to it. Hope you learned your lesson but it doesn’t sound like it so… happy gaming 'til next suspension of yours!
Or prove me wrong and don’t get suspended again.
No, it hasn’t. It’s been demonstrated that there is an automated squelch, which Blizzard openly states, and that misuse of the report system is an actionable offense, which Blizzard openly states. It also suggests that getting dozens of reports draws a GM’s attention faster than getting one report, which is pretty sensible.
Yes, it has. Mass reporting = silenced within a minute, with an email telling them the penalty as “Account Silenced”
i just had someone a few days comment i need “unalive” myself as a joke
i reported it, nothing happened bc other ppl thought the joke was fine i guess.
but if i say go smoke some ‘felweed’ thats a report, so thats strange.
Account silenced because they encouraged a large number of their followers to abuse the report system. Leave your misinformation at the door next time.
Blizzard won’t inform you when an action is taken against an account that is not your own.
it was on the forums lol
edit: in fact its still up.
The first 30 seconds it starts with encouraging people to abuse the report system. You’re really struggling with this basic concept that abuse of the report system is not permitted
Ah so you think a GM reviewed reports and applied a silence for “abusive chat” within a minute of being mass reported? Yeah ok.
I think that your “evidence” comes from streamers openly violating the rules and then making up controversy because controversy makes them cash, and we have seen this same pattern repeated. If this happened without the violation of the rules that’d be one thing. Find one where someone gets account penalties without abuse of the reporting system and you’d have a leg to stand on.
You’re responses are a classic example of peeing on my leg and telling me it’s raining.
We all also know that its very common for people to get mass reported by 50? people in under a minute
Very normal event to happen
Buh asmon said so11!
What i did was causing alot pvp players to protest Blizzard with me. Blizzard didn’t like that at all during that time. The nerf to pvp gear was avery big sensitive issue in WoW forums causing heated arguments. WoW’s forums were a complete mess.
No, i haven’t been banned in over 12 year. Probably because i don’t pvp anymore.
