Ban Culture of 2024/2025

Being a bigot of any kind is unacceptable. Sexism isn’t better either troll.

Nah.

It shouldn’t be everyone else’s responsibility to “grow up”. People become losers due to lack of consequences.

Communities used to have goals to make things better for the community.

They still do… raiders want to raid better. PvPers wanna push ratings, etc.

There isn’t some all encompassing wow community though.

I remember i was silent for the first 24 hours, but i didn’t learn my lesson the next day, so i was silence for the week and the week after that. All because i didn’t like what Blizzard was doing to pvp. Getting rid of resilience pvp gear going into the next expansion Warlord of Draenor. Resilience pvp gear is what separate pve and pvp players, but Blizzard didn’t like that. Blizzard believe that pve players shouldn’t have to have two separate gears in order to both dungeons - raids / pvp.
In which it was unfair to pvp players since they don’t pve, so that means pve players had a bigger advantage over pvp players when came to pvp.

During that time pvp was part of my life. That’s all that i did and Blizzard took that away from me and many pvp players. I lost of alot of my friends because of the nerf to resilience gear. Pvp was part of my life. I got into so much trouble because of the nerf to pvp gear.

I took a break from WoW for at least 3 years and came back at the end of Legion. I was really heart broken what Blizzard did to pvp.

Today, i really don’t care about pvp anymore like i once did. The only thing i don’t like about pvp now is causing classes to be nerfed because some players are crying because they can’t defeat a certain class, so they cry to Blizzard and have that class nerf. In which it is unfair to pve players.

Just dont be mean and you wont get banned, ez pz.

Getting banned is a skill issue if you ask me.

:dracthyr_lulmao:

I agree with banning bad coffee. That’s the worst offense to those of us that enjoy coffee.

You do realize that there are players who are way over sensitive to certain topics and they want players to be banned or silent :no_mouth: for it. Which has nothing to do with being mean.

Having an opinion about the state of the game doesn’t get you silenced. Saying offensive stuff will. If you didn’t learn this lesson after 24 hours, a week, or then two weeks after that… it says two things:

  1. Silences doesn’t work.
  2. This is a problem on your end, and silences aren’t getting through to you.

None of this has anything to do with PvP, Blizzard, or anyone or anything else but you. Learn to behave in social environments, or learn to be quiet.

What did u get banned before?

You can get silenced for a week for saying the id 10 t word if someone reports you for it. Punishments escalate from there.

The system isn’t just punishing 6-letter gamer words.

Mass reporting does a good job at that too.

It doesn’t though. Mass reporting is not going to get someone actioned any more than a single report. Behave and there will be nothing for a GM to action based on.

Simply saying “identity” isn’t a reportable offense. Berating people over people’s identity is a reportable offense though, so the people who do get reported for “discussing identity” are the ones berating and being insulting towards others about their identity.

What you are doing here is simply pretending to be a victim of something which isn’t happening, at least not in terms of what you are insinuating.

You gotta admit the “Difference of opinion” people are always the people complaining about the “woke” and how they “disagree” about certain kinds of peoples (rights) to exist

They’re also always the ones who bring it up and get mad when nobody cares

I read that as the word “idiot”, which is also not going to get sanctioned on its own, it’s not a slur. However, calling someone an idiot or otherwise insulting someone is actionable.

Nerfing pvp gear during that time was a very big issue. There were alot of pvp players wanting to protest and boycott Blizzard. I was one of those players causing problems for Blizzard at that time, so Blizzard gave me a time out.
There was no point playing game i can not play, so i took a very long break from WoW.

Was your “protest” advertisements in the group finder?

Kind sir, I believe you’ve got the wrong word. The id 10 t word is a 5 letter word that questions someone’s intellectual capacity. My friend was silenced for a week for using it, so I do not want to say it.
