Bravo and there you go.
We are discussing this issue trying to offer different and varied ideas and one side of this is basically just a bunch of trolls telling us to shut up and not talk about it LOL
And they’re the same ones playing victim when they’re behaving like they do and called out about it.
This is blizzards forum for the game and we’re allowed to toss out any ideas that we want to here as long as they don’t violate the rules
And yet we have probably a dozen people in here tossing tantrums pretending as if we’re not allowed to discuss what we want LOL
The 30 minute thing was a kneejerk reaction by Blizzard and didn’t really solve anything. The issue it was meant to address kind of fixed itself by just having Mythic and Mythic+ open up. I don’t see them going back on it though because it would kind of make them look like clowns lol.
It doesn’t matter if it’s complaining or not. And that poster has no authority to try to shut us down in here. I find it hilarious that one of them was running their mouths about being harassed and bullied and yet they are in here harassing and bullying trying to make everybody shut up about this
Literally projecting their own behavior onto others and then whining if it’s called out
This is Blizzard’s forum for blizzards game and blizzard tells us to come here and express our opinions and that’s exactly what we’re going to do whether the trolls in here like that fact or not
Personally I want to see three vote limit a day per account
If they need more than three then they’re lying about not seeing vote kicks very much
And the time out needs to be removed entirely because it doesn’t affect the real trolls who will just hop onto another alt and keep trolling anyways
Then I might have been misunderstanding, are you saying that people should be able to receive loot for the bosses the kill at the end, even if it’s one they’ve previously killed?
At least with the issue of staying in a run in LFR this is currently not the case.
They just played the little juvenile semantics game well there’s a reason but it’s just some stupid reason like I don’t like your transmog or I don’t like your character race or I don’t like your Barber options LOL
They’re not ignorant they know exactly what we’re talking about here when we say for no reason
They know exactly what that means that the person was kicked for nothing they did wrong
Such is the pity. Personally I don’t find it when people admit to a fault being a clown, I see it as them owning to mistake and hopefully learning from it in the future.
I think I asked this earlier in here it doesn’t the launcher itself have a quasi timeout kind of thing that’s like 10 minutes where you can’t use the queue again until that timer is gone if you are out of the dungeon regardless of the deserter time out?
I’m asking because if you can’t queue again for 10 minutes regardless that’s enough of a time out for everybody anyways it doesn’t need to be 30 minutes
So somebody’s trolling the group they get kicked so they just wasted that time and now they’re out for 10 minutes and then they’ve got a queue again for 10 or 15 minutes that’s enough time for a punishment
Uh, if one player really does stay to avoid the timer and troll the other four instead of leaving, then the other four vote to kick them and they get the timer anyway… Isn’t that the system working as intended? It means that the best way to avoid getting stuck with the timer is to, you know, play out the dungeon and do so at least well enough that the other 4 people want to keep you around. If anything you’re explaining why the system is a positive.
who is mad? you got exposed for trolling. not my fault you left out details on which wow you still play. now you are trying to back pedal lmao try again son.
In regards to backfilling specifically, I think if you get placed in a backfilled group, any loot dropped you can freely roll on to encourage you to stay and finish the run. Does this mean some people will have “bonus attempts” to roll for loot in things like LFR? Sure, but I also think the benefit of helping finish out a groups run out weighs someone rolling on loot another time.
The rest of this thread feels like an unnecessary circular argument by this point.
I had to backtrack to where our conversation started, in response to what Julaalu had written about moving loot to the end of dungeon or raid runs.
You’re absolutely right that queued dungeons don’t have a lockout—you get loot for the bosses you kill. That much is clear.
But this isn’t true for LFR. If you kill a boss in LFR, you’re locked out from receiving loot from that boss if you kill it again in a separate run.
My point is, if loot were moved to the end of a run (or wing), anyone who gets kicked, DCs, or leaves for any reason would end up in a worse situation. They’d have to redo bosses they’ve already killed without any additional incentive to do so.
Unless, of course, the system were changed to account for boss lockouts when re-queuing—which, as it stands, it doesn’t currently do.
The one thing that comes to mind would be people leaving before the end of the run to redo boss encounters. If someone in a wing wants something from say, Rasha’nan, didn’t see if drop, they leave, then requeue for the same wing.
It becomes Sacbrood 2.0.
It might work if your rolls were less important than a need or greed, at least then you might have a chance at the loot. Maybe even offer gold, or augment runes instead of loot.
Something to validate the time you spend assisting a group kill a boss you’ve already killed.
