Then after several hours of annoying anyone in earshot he just slowly crawls his way out of the camp, mumbling and cursing.

It’ll be okay, we still have the worthless night elf nobody wanted and who can’t even be bothered to explain why she agreed to change sides. Surely that will be more than compensation for losing a sympathetic character that seemed to show promise!
