Imagine thinking you just know more than Blizzard despite no expertise in the business side of running a MMORPG.
You’re like every football fan that thinks they could run their favorite NFL team better than the HOF coach the team employs.

As you said to Slotmachine. Link your source.
It’s also irresponsible to investors to spend an additional 100K on casual content if the projection is that that extra 100K will only increase revenue by 50K.
I don’t need to know more than them to just look at the fact that their current strategy is failing and say “maybe you should try something else?”
World quests, as there were in Legion and BfA. I know people who are still doing them.
Normal and heroic dungeons, with the same sort of rewards that they used to have.
Some can and some can’t even with 2-3 players.
If 3 players can’t kill a rare together, then you’re dealing with a major skill issue for all 3.
And there are tons of players that run old raids for transmog. You don’t have an actual source with the costs of designing, testing and implementing new casual content like WQs and zones vs the costs of doing the same for a raid or dungeon.
This I can’t understand,an investment is monies place aside for the purpose of interest that only comes over time and not quarters . Video game is such an investment for that-over time.
Completely agree. Legion was great, just like Wrath, because there was a ton of stuff to do everywhere but more importantly doing those things were worth it. Unlike now the “stuff” to do is transmog farm the same stuff we’ve been farming for years? Because that’s the only comeback anyone can come up with lol.
I spent a lot of time wondering who the hell asked for the game to be shrunk down to m+ and nothing else, and it finally dawned on me nobody did. Blizzard wants it that way because it’s easier to control, easier to design and requires less staff.
The Blizzard dev team is not the one we are use to. The one we have no is borderline useless with almost no experience in creating a game or WoW. They have no idea what they’re doing, but they’re also being massively underpaid so they are doing it at the lowest possible level to not get fired. It’s all just the worst.
The cost of “designing, testing, and implementing new” world quests is a tiny fraction of the cost of designing raids.
They’ve been working to discourage players from running old raids for transmog since the start of BfA, when they started to tune them harder so players couldn’t run them on alts as they always did before. What plan do you have to convince players who have been playing all these years and have all the transmog they want, but want to run world quests as they used to be able to, that they should farm old dungeons instead for no reason?
Retuning a mythic dungeon for heroic or normal use is essentially free. The art work involved with creating dungeons and raids is hideous. They have said this in the past.
And how can you claim that the fact that I don’t have exact numbers somehow validates you making up your own numbers?
Complete fabrication.
I don’t think carpet has reached “differences between fact and opinion” on the tech tree yet.
Sounds like bad design on the devs part.
Not everyone is lining up for the hardcore experience they keep trying to push, in a vain attempt to make WoW relevant in E-sports.
I mean, yes, but not for the reasons you think.
Leveling needs to do a better job of forcing you to learn how to play your class/spec. you shouldn’t have that many people running around at max level who are so bad they can’t do a world quest in a 3 player group.
I hear that’s working great for Diablo 4 right now…
I am not sure this is true. I had a champion piece from somewhere and I didn’t think it was the assault that showed up in there on Tuesday when I went to look.
However, it really wouldn’t surprised me if they did this because they made world content players waste their time on other gear last time as well.
Reached the end game and kinda lost interest. Slowly working my way up in hardcore though. M+ is more fun than diablo 4 dungeons.
Citation needed.
Probably too easy to reach gear cap, and once people do, they find other stuff to do. Gear falls from the sky.
That’s very sad, as a softcore PVP-only player (i dont do ranked content) i only get my first set item when they open the catalist, most ppl already got a set at this point, usually get them with conquest items i get with weekly missions.
