Hmm. My play style and game play haven’t been negatively affected in anyway, shape or form from the lack of communication.
It has negatively changed due to an accident caused by outside control 10 months ago, but not not caused by communications.
Wonder if this is an attempt to try to kickstart a new buzz trend.
Meh, road to mediocrity is often traveled by potatoes who believe they are flowers.
I get it now. You are the guy that pirate’s the new marvel, disney, or whatever movie, then obnoxiously tells anyone in ear shot the entire plot 6 months before it hits theatres…
You even resort to fancy insults like kiddo and pointing out grammatical errors.
I think they’ve learned their lesson. Maybe tomorrow, they will announce that they are removing a title that won’t be available until 2030, but in an effort to communicate, they are telling us now…
Again, remember what you said, they don’t read the forums, there’s no reason to apply here.
Go to the jobs page, have someone proofread your resume, and make sure you remember at least three people in your life who would want to be around you long enough to give you a good recommendation.
Good point. I’m all about Hanlon’s Razor, but it really does seem like Blizzard deliberately withholds information on their decisions because they don’t want to deal with the backlash.
Of course, people find out anyway and so the flames come regardless so it doesn’t seem to be very effective.
Where does it state that you’re entitled to any form of communication from them?
It’s their game, it’s not an open discussion. Right now, if they wanted to, they could remove every single mount in the game and leave you with a slow turtle. That’s their choice…
Are you seriously talking about the removal of this mount ? There was no data mining involved - wowhead posted about the Feat of Strength the day it was available on the PTR. Blizzard confirmed it was being removed from the vendor.
Spodge, honey, seeing the Feat of Strength doesn’t mean the mount was removed. There’s a whole list of Feats of Strength that are still available in game, Wowhead even has a list to pursue.
Off you go to talk about how many of these mounts you bought. What is it up to, eight or nine now?
I’ve accepted that no matter where you go, a bad faith argument is bound to come from your lips, and you’re not worth any consideration of actual debate and engaging you on the terms you want to have is a complete waste of time. It’s pretty much why whenever you pop up, I’ve learned to ignore you.
Because to hear them tell it, this was always the way it was going to be. But they didn’t bother to tell anyone at launch and there’s no evidence that they were going to tell people until it was a stink on the forums. And instead of quashing the “no auction house” rumor immediately, they let that stir around for another two weeks.
And they have yet to sufficiently explain how the AH differs from literally every other luxury mount in the game besides “Well it just does.”
Does that help? I wouldn’t want you to be confused.
There is no “current discussion”. It was announced it is gone after BFA. A bunch of annoying outrage junkies decided to take to the forums as this was the thing they were mad about this week. S#@*posting ensued.
So everything in any online video game.
Not sure how you arrived there LOL.
Correct
Probably the next ridiculously expensive in game item, if this move is successful and they see an influx of token purchases I’m sure they will make another whale mount in shadowlands.
You know its not gone next week right? 8.3 isn’t even here yet. You likely have over a year to farm the mount. I really don’t see the issue. You have a year to either farm 5 mil gold or save like $500 USD.
What would be neat is if the game developers could set up regular public meetings or podcasts or something of that nature. This way discussions could be had about the current game, what’s in development, what’s the mentality and decision making process of the game development team like, etc. I feel that a lot of good can come from something like this and it would make a lot of people happy.
It wasn’t announced. A nonsense confirmation post about dinosaurs being endangered was slipped onto a thread someone made asking “Wait, are they seriously just removing this without a word?”. No justification was offered for two weeks while said thread reached 4000 posts.
