A good list.

And Iā€™ve still found myself playing classic more than retail, even through TWWā€™s launch.

OMG!

You had to post this.

I remember having to punch stuff to get to 400 on my hunter! Having to carry arrows and then running out. Lord, i donā€™t miss any of that.

Haha! Remembering my old EQ Shaman. Sitting on the ramp to Halas casting SOW & other great buffs for free.

Dude, you just said it in your own words its not as much. Maybe we can just agree to disagree, but i think after next week, things should be more stable and we should have less maintenance. It is what it is atm.

How much of this is frustration over not being able to play though? This game sucks people in like no other.

I think downtime therapy should be a thing with the game.

Back in the day, I was a Warlock level 60 in MC and did use the level 19 cruel barb from Deadmines, because I did not know better.

I miss being accepted in WOW, despite being a noob, despite not topping meters, not having achievements or a high gearscore.

I miss when video games were played for fun.

Assume. That was also my experience. A single Alterac Valley battleground would go on for many, many hours. Non-stop killing. As a priest it was non-stop healing for me.

Back in my day, we raided Blackrock Depths and Stratholme
Kids these days and their 5 man BRDā€™sā€¦

I still remember hunter pets staying their level, and needing to be leveled.

I remember attacking a low level (my current level) mob, and it turned out to be a max level Night Elfā€™s pet in PvP, marking me for PvP, and then getting 1-shotā€¦

Good times.

Donā€™t forget raiding capital cities, I canā€™t even remember the last time I seen that happen.

Back in my dayā€¦ my baby Gnomes were born in Klikā€™Anon and adventured down the coast to Freeport.

Also, my big mac, fries and a drink were just over two dollars.

back in my day a single player couldnā€™t survive long in an enemy capital city.

lol, so many goblin lanternsā€¦

The no transparency, the extended maint, outside of normal maint time. Thats adding up to almost more downtime then uptime for most. Thats what people are upset about. Why have alpha, beta,EA, if nothing is done til two months after. Take 1 dayā€¦all dayā€¦once a weekā€¦not this random fleeting moment shizz. Again, back in the day, we waited until reset for patches, fixes and things like that outside of server restarts for hotfixes. Now it takes a whole day for a hotfix. When can people just agree that it isnt ok. Regardless of those who work during the dayā€¦good for you? People are having time taken from them without a reason. Sure we signed the ToSā€¦i signed it when they gave a crap about the playersā€¦and cared more about playtime then shutting everything down for pet battlesā€¦or a global ahā€¦

Back in my day we carried disease from ZG back to Ironforge and wiped out the entire city
pfftā€¦kids today and their disease free capitalsā€¦

Yup. I spent hours in there healing and started to feel nauseous from it. My brain was like, this is ridiculous. Good times. I think that was when I first started playing around with different ways to target people because it was chaos in there.

Should have been called Death-lands. Was fun times back then.

No doubt about that!
