Back in my day

The real feeling of trepidation the first time you walked into the other faction’s territory. Loved the adventure.

Back in my day, we didn’t have all these egirl and uwu “streamers” suckering in simps to watch their streams with the use of filters and cleavage.

no, they had sears catalogues instead… /cackle

Back in my day we said ding every time we levelled and we were genuine with our congratulations!

Back in my day, when I first started WoW in 2008, my IRL co-workers gave me 5 gold to start with…and I thought I was rich! (…and they thought 5 gold was generous!).

I hit level 70 on my warlock before I could afford the items to summon my epic mount.

Blizzard was built by Gen X.

When WoW came out, the older millenials were in high school.

The ultimate boomer test is when you think boomer literally means the baby boomer generation and not just an “I’m older” mindset.

Hope you have now been enlightened. There can even be gen Z boomers my guy

Yes, yes we did. Do not forget about heading into Scholomance to make flasks as well.

You did NOT want to be a dick or a bad player if you had to spend 2 years to get to level cap.

Back in my day, if you didn’t do the attunement quest, then no raid for you!

Hunters used to buy different kinds of ammunition.
Taking the barrens crossroads was a highly respected event

Back in my day you had to get arcane dust and single target everyone in your raid 1 by 1 to give them Intel and then also make sure to have a full bag empty to fill it up with water to pass out before the raid too.

Pallies had to have reagents to cast greater power of kings and such, mages needed portal stones to get everyone back to a Capitol city, Hunters had to aspect dance to regen MANA and carry plenty of ammo for raid night (10k rounds min), pets needed to be fed so they didn’t get mad and run away, weapon skills, defense on tanks to not be one shot crit, clothies had a slot for a wands, hunters had a slot for a melee and ranged weapon and could also carry a shield.

Back in… nvm I am still stuck back in the day, only play classic.

This would more than likely be the Baby Boomer generation from 1946-1964. Generation X was born from 1965-1980 would be the ones that would just punch you in the face and go about their way.

Generation Z would be mostly born from younger BBs and siblings to younger Gen X but after 1983 from Gen X. Millennials would be born after 1995-2010 and be the children of later born Gen X and Gen Z after 1998.

Generation Alpha would be the mostly children of the Millennials and late blooming Gen Z.

The game was more than likely designed by the Gen X and Gen Z game coders and went live during Millennials. Majority of your player base would have been Gen X, Z and children of the two the Millennials. BB would play but in smaller numbers then the other two 2 and the children of the two.

Now those Millennials would be in their late 20s while the Gen Z 30s-early 40s and Gen X in their 44-59.
