With certain, close city pairs it still is
I also remember Thottbot. I donāt think we could name a site that and not have mixed meanings now.

back in my day we did not trust warlock portals lol or needing 5 players to summon a demon to wipe out a low lvl area lol
WoW in its purest form.
spent all day in Maraudon Dungeon to acquire the greatest leveling trinket of all times. Mark of the Chosen
YOOOO that got me good
back in my day we stared at trees for both excitement and arousal. and when we went questingā¦ people diedā¦
and we aint had no fancy resuscitation bar-trolly waiten to blow wind up our butts whenever we stubbed a toe neither.
daamm whippersnappers yappin bout ageā¦ ILL SHOW YOU AGE!
Actually, there has been one in development for about seven years; Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. It will have modern graphics using Unity game engine. It will punish people for death, have environments that you must acclimate to adventure in and more of an Ever Quest type experience.
My Shaman was based on the server Tholuxe Paells. I used to cast free buffs for anyone to make their adventure life easier. Favorite buff, Focus of the Seven. But buffs where also level based so you had to remember the lower buffs for different levels of players which always was a PITA.
I still fall to my death (I donāt have slowfall keybound)
So did Draenei
I used it for quite awhile. Preferred it to WoWhead and the others.
They still do that, they just forget where they put slowfall
me included
back in my day if you didnāt stance break through parrying you werenāt a gamer.
Iāve learned to put things like slow fall, Paladin bubble, and Goblin glider in the same place so I can rely on muscle memory.
When I first started playing EverQuest, only one person at a time could loot a mob, and the first to loot could take whatever they want with no notification to the rest of the group they took anything.
They fixed that quickly but before that there was a lot of āwasnāt meā and āI didnāt take itā - Back then if a mob was holding a weapon, then you knew it would be dropped.
Back in my day there was no weather effects in the game. I was logged in the day they appeared, and everyone freaked out, becauseā¦rain
Letās not forget managing your pets, and having to level them up alongside you. Heaven help you if you wanted to switch, because you forgot about that pet five levels ago and now it melts like wax in a fire during battle.
Ahhh the memories this brings backā¦ yeah things were hardā¦ but I loved the game back then. Really fun to read all the comments. Here is mineā¦
Back in the day - horde/alliance fights going on at Tarren Millā¦ for hoursā¦with nobody ever winningā¦
I do that too. All of my keybinds are set to roughly the same spots for every character.
Swimming to South Shore from Wetlands and then running up through Tirisfal, hiding behind trees so the forsaken didnāt see you and getting chased down and murdered only to get to SM and I loved it all.
boomers should be the ones starting to get dementiaā¦ itās actually millennial wow unless people forgot when it was released O.o early millennials were in their 20ās already. that said mobile games are the boomer games. the average boomer doesnāt have much skill in gaming, way after their time.
think Gen X is what most people are referring to when they talk boomers in gaming anyways, at least there was probably some gen X that did play wowā¦
