Nope. I farm too. Not on this toon, but on my Mage and Hunter who are my herbers/alchemists and on my Druid and Paladin who are my miners/jcs.
Rarely see the Strider unless I’m at water or crossing water. And I almost never see the Golem. I don’t even use my own Golem and I have 2 of them.
You act like anyone who disagrees with you couldn’t possibly do the same types of things you do.
However, I’m completely unaware of these “gathering only” zones where there are no quests available. Perhaps there are only Striders and Golems there. I’ve never been to a zone with herbs/mining nodes that doesn’t also have quests in it.

honestly. good question.
only reasoning i could see for it is it’s easy to enchant something to walk on water, but harvesting herbs might be thematically difficult to explain how my dinosaur harvests things?
either way… .still a non issue. maybe in the future there will be one.

it’s applied to the equipment slot of a character, not to specific mounts.

The sky golem i see MAYBE half a dozen times in an entire DAY.
I see players farming HERBS all the time WITHOUT the sky golem.
If i see anything farming a lot it would be DRUIDS.

Think about how twinks feel like now. Recently segregated from the rest of the population and unable to do BGs. Also no longer able to help other level as they will get 95% reduced exp. The majority if twinks are now pointless and many of these characters have months of time invest into them.
I do love it when the general playerbase catches on to the stuff we’ve been complaining about for weeks.
And once flying is locked again next expansion they’ll need to run over water once more. But they can’t water walk because they had to choose between that or the anti-daze equipment. They’ll find themselves annoyed every single time they’re slowly trudging through water.
However much you whine about their grievance it doesn’t stop the fact that Blizz took stuff away from everyone that owned a Water Strider. They lost the functionality of water walking on demand.
They lost faith that anything they ever do in this game will matter, because blizz can take it all away at a whim.
How long until your fancy MoP transmog is taken away from you? Won’t hurt you not to have that transmog, but I bet it wouldn’t make you super happy to lose it either, huh?

Also, you didn’t say “I use my Strider and Golem to farm”. You said “literally every one uses a Strider or Golem to herb”.
“Literally”, that’s impossible since “everyone” isn’t going to use the same things like, “literally” ever. Someone is going to be different.
