AV queues - i have to say it

lol

basically this.
it was working fine before they broke it.

other options: Merc mode.

Obviously you dont.

We’re going to and you obviously do care or you wouldn’t be writing novels about.

Think the samething of you. Watching you try to avoid pvp on pvp servers by corpse dragging into your safe pve instance. I pity you too because i know all that emotion you’re going through is for nothing because you could have avoided every bit of it by rolling a pve server in the first place.
I understand why you get mad. You’re not mad at the mean ol’ pvpers.
You’re mad at yourself for making a bad choice. You’re reminded of that bad choice everytime you die within the pvp ruleset.

Your pathetic attempts at personal attacks make me laugh. You just sound like someone who is mad because pvp happened.
Ever get so mad by being killed on a pvp server that you break your stuff? I feel your rage. Share it with us. Ever break your keyboard? What about your monitor? How about your headphones?
My guess is you’ve at least thrown some stuff raging over pvp happening. Call me what you will but I chose Horde for the same reason I chose Horde many many moons ago and continue to choose Horde to this day: They aren’t the alliance! Wasn’t racials. It wasn’t population. Horde just wasn’t the played out elf, dwarf, human trope.
I’ll continue to pick Horde too. You don’t like it? Get a few of your friends out of their safe space pve instance and come camp me.
I won’t get mad at you. I might even gain some respect for you.

Lok’tar Ogar.

The way alliance premaded was an exploit and left all those alliance who did not premade in a bad spot, with their game starting with less than 30 alliance players sometimes.

Maybe if they implemented premade queues it could have been fair, but that is not the case.

I think you may have hit the nail on the head. What a shame.

I came back to wow classic after not having played the game since cataclysm, thinking it would be a fun fresh nostalgia trip through my teenage years playing the original incarnation.

It was, through the levelling grind, and for the first couple weeks, if that, of each battleground’s release.

I don’t even know what to say. You’re right. It all comes down to the community. It’s so sad that the WoW classic community is so packed with…well…the types of people that make it what it is.

Yea change the map so the alliance can move on to there next excuse as to why they cant win av without it being a rush game.

They will blame racials.
I would love for them to randomly flip the start points in AV.
For science ofc. Not because I want to watch as the North gets locked down and alliance find out how much effort we do put into the pvp.
The cave being closer should get them 2 min wins. I’d love to see the look of realization as Horde pushes them back south.

they still think they’re good…didnt do well against premades when both sides were putting in effort though.

Its too funny watching the egos that come from their free wins.

What the first Week? Lol. I don’t know what you consider well because I think pugs making premades /afk out is well done indeed.
Which by the end of the first week was becoming common because allies were more worried about HpH with fast games than winning the bg.

I remember MC-geared tanks on Drek and the horde nowhere to be seen…just saying.

They were too busy killing commanders and lieutenants - ya know avoiding PvP.

I was alliance in actual vanilla.

I was alliance on multiple private servers that used this version of AV.

It’s not the map.

Edit: the only reason I am horde this time is because my RL friends went horde.

What the first week before Horde started really defending? Yea see we had to fight the “let them win for honor” neckbeards to get organized.
Fight them we did and won. End result was premades being beaten by pugs.

I remember this defeatist strat too. Think it lasted 2 days or so… lol
Once people started recalling and having some success more people followed and pretty soon we were just wiping the premades.
That’s when the fun started because the neckbeards trying to lose for honor did the math and realized a long win was better than fast losses. So they started engaging instead of afk and hindering the team.
Still had some and some afkers but nothing like what was happening in that first week.
A lot of back and forth in chat. I should have realized the carebear imbalance back then is what’s screwing up pvp servers.

Ah well here we are and they’re all panic transferring. Probably coming to your server next!

The amount of people that were CARRIED by premades in AV for WINS vs how many are now LOSING (WHICH IS 99% of the games if you haven’t played as Alliance FYI) outways how many were left with “less than 30 alliance.”
You need to look at the bigger picture.

We warned you your queue would sky rocket, but horde tends to care about the present moment instead of the longevity of the game. So enjoy your queues!

funny how horde started winning around the time raiders started getting their offhands and rings…

Whelp tell your faction to stop abusing their map advantage and maybe more alliance will queue.

The sun will burn out eventually too. Does that make me some kind of prophet? Queues were bound to go up after the main chunk of rep grinders were finished.
AV all but died on pservers after the rep rush. Every single one of them.

You guys toting this like you’re some kind of prophets is hilarious. What do your tea leaves say about the AV queue 6 months after P6?
It was inevitable. If it wasn’t for this lock down, alts, and neckbeards still trying to rank easy. AV would be almost completely dead.

The whole playerbase does this. See every single loot drama that has happened for near limitless examples.
Look at the mad rush server transfer for another.
Look at the over loaded pvp servers by people who don’t pvp for another.
Yes. Look at stacked Horde for another. We can thank the streamers for the last 2.
“The real Vanilla experience is on PvP servers”. Yup. Sure is.

Alliance queue under 5min. Horde queue: unavailable
